Super experience, the instructors were very friendly and kind, they knew how to reassure my children (and the adults 😊) the landscape is magnificent… I would do it again without hesitation!

Fun, relaxed river tubing cruise
Fun experience down the river but noticed other companies allowed you to take your camera/gopro, while we were told it was a health and safety thing so couldn’t take our own and had to in turn pay for the photos/videos they took instead which are pretty expensive at 300k. Apart from that it was fun, the guides were lovely and attentive. Got some great pics and the waterfalls were super pretty. Might be a little boring for some as it’s pretty relaxed apart from the 7 drops along the river. Be mindful of all the stairs at the end. We weren’t expecting to have to walk so far to get back.
Make sure to wear water shoes or shoes you don’t mind getting wet (for the long walk back) along with swimwear or clothing that you don’t mind wet.

Regarding GoPro and personal cameras, our policy is based on safety and the conditions of the river. Different operators may have different rules, but we choose to follow our own safety procedures to reduce the risk of guests losing or damaging personal equipment during the activity.
The photo and video service is completely optional, and the price is communicated to guests. We’re happy that you still got some great memories from the experience.
We also appreciate your feedback regarding the stairs at the end. We do inform guests that there is a walk and a number of stairs back from the river, as this is part of the nature of the location.

Great family experience
Had an awesome family morning at Gekko Tubing. From start to finish it was great fun, with a super helpful team every step of the way to help and ensure safety at all times. Towels, water and food was included at the end which was simple yet tasty. Photos are expensive though, considering you can’t take your own go pro. Still highly recommended.

Regarding the photos, we understand your point. Since personal phones and GoPros are not allowed on the river for safety reasons, we provide professional photography instead. We use the latest camera equipment to capture high-quality photos and videos throughout the adventure, so our guests can enjoy the experience without worrying about protecting their own devices.

Great experience in a side of Ubud you can’t see from the roads
We expected this to be fun but it exceeded our expectations. It was just us and our two boys (13 & 10) on a somewhat rainy day and tubing was great. It was more intense than we expected (but not too much so) and the scenery was unbeatable (lots of small waterfalls. The guides were very good and we bought the pictures they took. This was a trip highlight and we highly recommend it.
