Like the other reviewers, our group of 6 were beyond delighted with Josko. He made our trip with sharing his own personal experience and providing detailed history of his home islands! We ran into other travelers who were jealous of our guide Josko compared to their experience. We loved every minute of it… and will use josko again and recommend to family and friends!! My husband and I had a wonderful boat tour with Josko! He was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional! We were supposed to go to the blue and green caves but we had to pivot bc of the weather being too windy the caves were closed. Josko did a great job at recommending other islands to visit. We visited a winery, had a delicious lunch and then got time to just relax on the boat! He is very flexible! I would def recommend booking a day tour with Josko. You can always reach out to him directly to book. Save yourself some money!

We booked a private tour through Victor with Josko for my 50th bday based on reviews and ratings…well they were spot on. Since this was a private tour, Josko allowed us to pick our start time, which was 10:30. He provides you with water, soda and beer for the trip. Josko picks you up right at the town square harbor at the agreed time. The tour is based on the things you want to see, so he tailors it around your wants and needs. Generations of his family have lived in the region. We started off by seeing a local former Yugoslavian Navy Submarine tunnel followed by a tour of small village on the island. We were able to have some coffee, pastries and pizza for a snack. They Josko took us to two swimable beaches only accessible via boat. Both were charming and peaceful. We played in the sand at one of them. After the swimming events, Josko took us across the channel to the island with the Blue Cave. We were the only people there since it was the afternoon. The blue cave is simply magical and it is beyond description. We then went back to the big island to another village where Josko had private reservations set up for us at a former lobster farming facility. It is now the most charming restaurant on the water. Afterwards we saw some of the islands formations and proceeded to the pakelni islands where his family has an olive tree farm. It was a wonderful experience with a wonderful captain/host. It was a memory of lifetime.

We had an amazing day from start to finish! Josko was very knowledgeable about the islands and their history, and incredibly patient and accommodating. He took us to all the beautiful swim spots and recommended a fantastic traditional restaurant for lunch. The next day, he even sent us recommendations for things to do and see on Hvar and car rental information. He truly went above and beyond. Highly recommend Josko.

Josko was very professional with his communication with us. He was flexible and allowed us to choose whatever we would like to do for the day. He recommended a fabulous local restaurant, where we enjoyed fresh fish and a lovely swim after lunch. I would highly recommend doing a tour with Josko.

Josko was the best captain we could have asked for. Having the owner as our tour guide made a huge difference in our experience. He listened to our interests and planned an enjoyable day without any pressure to leave too quickly. He suggested small adjustments to the start time to avoid bad weather, but extended the end accordingly. He knows the best spots to beach, swim, and eat. We had the best fish of our lives on this tour. He was also very pleasant company and was nice to talk to. When we're back in Hvar, we'll be looking for Josko again!

Joško was an amazing tour guide. Not only did he show us the most beautiful locations around Hvar and Vis but he also gave us information on the rich history of the islands. To top it off he gave us plenty of other recommendations to do while we were on our trip. I highly recommend booking with him!

The most amazing day. Josko collected us from our hotel and made several suggestions about where we could go. He was knowledgeable and friendly and the boat was great. We went to several beaches, explored Vis and Vis town. Stopped for a fabulous lunch on his recommendation and even managed a stop at the Pakleni islands. Josko went above and beyond to ensure adults and teenagers had a fabulous day. We couldn’t recommend him and his boat highly enough!

We loved our private boat tour with Josko. He catered the day to what we wanted to do. He has years of experience and provided history about the islands and towns. Communication prior to tour was easy and clear along with easy pick up/drop off. We enjoyed our relaxing day on his boat and would recommend this tour to everyone!!

Our family of 7 had a wonderful day with Josko. We skipped the Blue Green Caves and he tailored a trip especially for our interests. Josko shared his family history from Pakleni Islands, military history from Vis and a visit to some of the most beautiful beaches and a little cliff jumping. We also had our choice of restaurants but settled on a perfect place on a quiet beach and had a great meal at a traditional Dalmatian restaurant on Vis. The perfect day with a fantastic host.
