Beware of Jo Weber!!!! If you book a trip or a trip with Jo Weber as a guide, you should pay hell of a visit. We are two friendly married couples and wanted to go on a day trip with Jo Weber in Cape Town in March 2026 and then spend ONE WEEK with him on the Garden Route. Since May 2025 we have been in contact with Jo Weber – via email and Whatsapp. Gradually, the exact itinerary and the day trip – the exact dates in March 2026 were set – had been confirmed by Jo Weber several times and most recently at the turn of 2025/26. And then the hammer!!! We were already on our way to the airport when Jo Weber announced in a Whatsapp that he had made a mistake and wrongly entered the dates in April. So he couldn't take this trip with us. Jo Weber ends his message and contact with us with a lapidary “I’m very sorry about that now”. Hardly anyone will be able to imagine the feelings and thoughts that came up in us. What was going to happen now? We have booked this trip only on the condition that we have a German speaking guide. We have limited command of the English language. However, we carried out the trip anyway. But the bottom line remains: NEVER book with JO WEBER AGAIN!
