A two hour stroll beginning at the golden hour and ending as the monument lights came on. Lucio was our friendly, knowledgable guide. He entertained us and found a smooth walking path through the crowds. We have been to Rome four times and wanted a new perspective, he did not disappoint. Well worth the time.
This was a great experience, the walking tour was a very good way to get to know Rome with a local guide who has vast amounts of information to share. We learned a lot about ancient Rome as well as learning about the modern city of Rome. The tour is free, but the guide should be given a tip for their efforts and compared to almost all other walking tours, this option represents exceptional value. Highly recommended !!!
I did two tours with Lucio and they were both great! It was hot in Rome but we spent most of the time in the shade and had plenty of opportunities for breaks. The tour was informative and fun, and Lucio was a great guide.

Our guide was Lucio, an amazing guide with more than 9 years of experience as a guide in Rome. As a family of 4 we had a private tour due to no-show of a few people, Lucio was very respectful and catered to our needs eg due to knee problems of our family member, we didn’t climb too many stairs and Lucio kindly took plenty of family pictures upon our request . He is very kind, knowledgeable and gave us plenty of interesting historical information, his English is good and clear. Thank you Lucio for showing us beautiful Rome in such a lovely way!

Such a great tour and Lucio was the best guide ever! The pace was just perfect for a hot evening in Rome. Lucio was full of information and enjoyed answering our questions. It so bad when people don’t turn up but we benefited from a private tour by default. That has happened to me before and it can get awkward but Lucio was so easy to get on with, without any “cringe” moments! I can’t recommend this tour enough and I only wish he had more people to top him what he truly deserves!!
