スーク ワキフ (アラビア語: Sūq Wāqif、「立っている市場」) は、カタール州のドーハにある市場 (スーク) です。スークでは、伝統的な衣服、スパイス、手工芸品、お土産を販売しています。レストランやシーシャ ラウンジもあります。元の建物は、伝統的なカタールの建築様式で、少なくとも 20 世紀にさかのぼります。 2006年に改装されました。 スークは、ワディ ムシェイレブとして知られる干上がった川床の近くに、少なくとも 1 世紀前に設立されました。ベドウィンと地元の人々がさまざまな商品、主に畜産品を取引する集会場でした。 スーク ワキフは、ドーハ内の観光名所と見なされています。
カタラはカタールのドーハにある文化村です。ウェスト ベイとパールの間の東海岸に位置します。「カタラ」は、18 世紀以前にカタールに使用された歴史的な名前です。 2010 年 10 月のドーハ トライベッカ フィルム フェスティバル (DTFF) の期間中にソフト オープンし、それ以来このイベントを開催しています。 カタラには野外円形劇場、オペラハウス、多目的映画館、多目的会議ホール、ビーチ、スークがあります。2015 年 11 月には、国の海洋遺産を紹介する博物館がオープンしました。
パール カタールは、約 4 平方キロメートルにわたる人工島です。これはカタールで外国人が自由保有権を所有できる最初の土地です。 「ザ パール」という名前が選ばれたのは、島がカタールの以前の主要な真珠採掘地の 1 つに建設されているためです。日本がカタールの石油ブームの直前に安価で手頃な価格の真珠を導入するまで、カタールはアジアの主要な真珠取引国の1つでした。パール カタールは、真珠産業におけるカタールの豊かな過去を表すのに役立ちます。パールは真珠の連なりに似ていると言われています。
この新しい地域はカタールの未来です。そして今では多くの人々に魅了されています。

Mr Nawaz is super friendly and sweet and gave us a detailed tour of Doha at night. He answered all our questions and allowed us to take pictures and videos of everywhere we went to. He’s super sweet and friendly.

Had an amazing experience on the midnight tour with Zubair, totally recommend. Had a 9 hour layover at night, and spent 3.5 hours exploring the city.
