The Capilano Bridge was otherworldly. Very peaceful among the giant trees. I booked through Capilano Bridge Park which was not great as their office verbally gave me two different locations for pick up which was different than the one posted in their site. Took an hour+.
Come early as the place gets filled up quite quickly and we were there in late September. It still didn’t deter us from having a grab day!
It was quite the workout with all the bridge shaking and swaying! Watch out for the youngsters who just want to go on a ride.

The free shuttle was on time for pickup at Canad Place. The ride was smooth thru Stanley Park to Capilano. We were able to do everything the sites were beautiful. We had a great time and the ride back was on time. We opted to get off at Hyatt to walk back to our hotel. We would do this again. Thank you.
We waited 45 minutes in the rain for the shuttle bus.

During peak periods or busy days, the shuttle can occasionally reach capacity before completing its route, which may result in a longer wait for guests at later stops. On busy days, we suggest heading to Canada Place if possible as that is the first pick-up location. The park was beautifully decorated for autumn and very well-maintained. We were just unlucky with the weather, as it rained the whole time. In sunshine, we would have liked to stay even longer.
Vancouver rain can be relentless....we’re glad you figured out that it’s a perfect time to visit a West Coast Temperate Rainforest. It’s also pretty special to see the river wildly rushing under the bridge!
Visited Capilano Suspension Bridge for the first time and really enjoyed it. The bridge itself was amazing, but I also loved walking through the forest and seeing the different areas around the park. Everything was well maintained and there were plenty of great spots for photos. Definitely a memorable stop during our Vancouver trip. Would recommend it if you're visiting the area for the first time.

Frequent Easy free transfers from Vancouver water front. Great fresh air easy access location. Various free info bites through out the park. On-site cafe/resturant and refreshments.

We used the free shuttle bus from the cruise port- The bus was very busy but we mananged to get seats. The park is in a lovely setting and we enjoyed al the information on the history of the site. The aprk was busy but we mananged to get all the way around the smaller bridge walks and platforms. We were surprised though how many people were allowed at one time on the suspension bridge itself- too many in my opinion and quite a few scared people clinging on as the bridge as you can imagine is quite wobbley. Did enjoy the visit though and glad we went.
