When we were looking for tour options on our cruise, we couldn't seem to find one that did everything we wanted to do until we came upon this tour. It checked all the boxes of animals, chocolate, rum, and snorkeling the reef. The biggest concern was trying to determine what time to schedule as our cruise ship stayed on "ship's time" which was two hours ahead of Roatan time! Rescheduling was easy and Luis worked with us -- even after the ship docked two hours later than they said they would! It turned out we were the only ones on the tour and Luis said to just get there as soon as we could and they would be there meet us. The map he provided got us to the meeting point easily and Luis was there waiting. He called our driver, Malcom (who was great!) and he took us to Maya Eden first to see the animals. Juan Carlos was fantastic taking us through the butterfly exhibit (and using my camera to take cool slow-motion videos,) then to see monkeys, toucans (which he got to perch on our arms,) a three-toed sloth, back to hold some monkeys, and finished up with macaws perched on our arms and my head! Juan Carlos really knew how to work with the animals and how to go through the exhibits. Once we left there, Malcom took us to the chocolate factory for a quick sample and then off to snorkel with JC and his son. JC's son spotted a turtle from the boat, so JC led us over to see a hawksbill turtle feeding before leading us along the reef. We'd snorkeled in Key West earlier in our cruise, but this was waaay better. The reef was colorful and there were lots of fish (including a school of well over a hundred blue tang.) The water was much clearer too. Once we finished the snorkeling, Malcom took us to the rum factory for a quick tasting and then back to the ship. This was by far the best excursion of our trip! Thank you, Luis, for being so responsive to our questions and so flexible on the scheduling. We chose this tour because of all the 5-star reviews and are very happy to add yet another one.

We booked a tour with Sandri's Tours. We had 3 adults and 1 teen. Pros: 1. Fair pricing and clear communication for all the activities, personal guide and car to take us around for the 5 hours we had. 2. Our guide, Tanisha, was wonderful! She communicated well in both English and Spanish. She gave us the background of Roatan history, economy, culture, food. She was friendly and knowledgeable. 3. The monkey park with our guide, Sonny, was awesome! We learned a lot. The monkeys were the best part. We also saw parrots, snakes, sloths, butterflies and more. This is a MUST DO in Roatan. 4. The boat tour to the reef, I can't remember which one, was also amazing. We saw hundreds of colorful fish. We snorkeled about 45 min. They provided the gear. Definitely worth coming back to Roatan to visit all their beautiful reefs. We felt safe; no sharks, no jelly fish. We had a guide snorkeling with us. 5. We also visited the chocolate factory with delicious samples. I felt like the pricing was high. A banana chocolate popsicle was $5. I wish I had seen $5 chocolate to bring back home. Same with the Rum shop and samples. 6. We had time leftover and asked to taste their local dish of iguana. It was pricey but expected because it was close to the cruise port and time was limited. We also stopped by a gas station to try the local beer, SalvaVida. Super good! Cons 1. Because of our limited time, we saw the touristy and pricey places. Next time, we will ask to see more of the local places and ask our guide to negotiate prices.

There are tours... and then there are experiences that stay with you forever. Our day in Honduras was one of those unforgettable experiences that we'll be talking about for years to come. From the moment we stepped off the ship, our incredible host was waiting for us at the port gate with the biggest smile, making us feel less like tourists and more like lifelong friends. That warm welcome set the tone for what became one of the most amazing days of our vacation. We explored charming local shops, drove through breathtaking mountain landscapes, and visited an incredible animal park where we got to hold sloths, laugh with playful monkeys, feed colorful parrots, and walk among beautiful butterflies. It felt like something straight out of a dream. Just when we thought the day couldn't get any better, we headed out for a private snorkeling adventure. This wasn't just another boat ride—the guide jumped right into the crystal-clear water with us, pointing out marine life and making sure we experienced every hidden treasure beneath the surface. It was personal, exciting, and absolutely unforgettable. Afterward, we enjoyed an amazing local lunch while sharing great conversation. We learned about the island's rich history, discovered hidden local favorites that most visitors never get to see, and gained a genuine appreciation for the people and culture of Honduras. It never felt rushed or scripted—it felt authentic, heartfelt, and completely customized to us. By the end of the day, we realized we hadn't just taken a tour—we had made memories with someone who truly loves sharing their home with others. That kind of passion, kindness, and hospitality is rare, and it made all the difference. If you're visiting Honduras and want more than just another excursion, do yourself a favor and book this experience. It was, without question, one of the highlights of our entire trip and worth every single minute. We left with incredible memories, amazing photos, new knowledge, and a feeling that we had experienced the real Honduras. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five stars aren't enough. We would recommend this experience to absolutely everyone!

Had a very good time with Angi on our tour. She accommodated our requests (like coming back to buy chocolate at the end so it wouldn’t melt!) and was very friendly and nice. The snorkeling was great as well. They take you out on a boat and you snorkel for plenty of time or can just go out and swim. They allowed our elderly parents to stay in the boat in the shade while the rest of the group went out.

Highly recommend using Sandri's Tours in Roatan. My wife and I took the Sloth Park, Beach Break and Snorkeling tour in April. Chris was our tour guide and he was awesome! We went sightseeing, to the Sloth Park and saw and held monkeys and toucans. We then went snorkeling and saw lots of really colorful fish as well as a moray eel! After that we had a fantastic lunch at a local outdoor restaurant. I would highly recommend Sandri's Tours Roatan. They were amazing!

Our group of four booked Sandris Tours online for our Roatán adventure, and from start to finish, the experience was seamless! Communication before and during the trip was excellent…clear, friendly, and flexible. They made it so easy to plan and adjust as we went. Our day started at Manawakie Park, where we met sloths, monkeys, and parrots up close (a fun reminder that they are wild animals — the sloth, however, was in no rush to bite anyone 🦥). From there, we sampled a delicious local beer, Salva Vida, before heading out to snorkel, I even spotted Dory herself! 🐠 Next stop: a local chocolate factory where we learned about authentic Honduran chocolate-making and sampled a few irresistible bites. And the finale — a feast by the sea with lobster, octopus, and cocktails, all hosted by our amazing guide Angie. She was knowledgeable, patient, and so much fun — truly the heart of the day. The tour felt personalized, relaxed, and full of local charm, all at an incredibly reasonable price. If you’re visiting Roatán, book with Sandris Tours and ask for Angie. You’ll leave with full hearts, happy stomachs, and salt in your hair!

We had the best time on our tour with Sandri’s! Our guide, Criss, was kind and thoughtful. Our daughter mentioned she loves rambutans and after our snorkeling stop, he picked us up with a big bag of rambutans for her! Made her day! He also accommodated our requests for local coffee and a local lunch spot. The place we went for lunch, Kabanas, was soooo good. We got a local favorite dish “pollo chuco” on Criss’s recommendation… WOW! So so good. The snorkeling was super fun. My daughter got scared because she saw tiny jelly fish (there were literally thousands of them!) and our guide just pulled her through them and distracted her by pointing out cool things. So grateful he helped her overcome her fear and have a great time! (The jelly fish were not the stinging kind, fyi, so no worries there!) The lookout stops are gorgeous as well. The chocolate factory and rum cake places were cool to see (we left with lots of chocolate- and the view from the rum cake place makes it worth the stop!) even if they did feel a little like pushes to get you to buy things. I highly recommend booking with this company. Luis was the one who helped me decide which tour to do, and was super responsive and helpful, and as I mentioned, our guide, Criss, was wonderful! It felt very personalized, which really made it special. I felt overwhelmed with options and I’m so glad we chose Sandri’s!

Just returned from a cruise in which I booked Sandris Tour with Louis, and I am so thankful that I stepped out the box and booked outside of the norm with the cruise line company. From the very first interaction of meeting our guide Chris to when he dropped us back at the port the whole trip was perfect! We got to see more of the island than I expected. When I booked, I didn't realize we would have our own guide driving us around telling us so much history and answered every question we could ask, opening car doors for me, took pictures for us and with us! bringing us to several stops that I didn't even expect! We will MOST Definitely be using Sandris Tours again on ANY cruise that we go back to Rotan. And I highly recommend CHRIS!
