The tour was brilliant! Roshan is an excellent guide. Very friendly and his knowledge of Mumbai and it’s history is impressive. It was a privilege to have him show me around the city and i am very grateful for his time. Thank you!
Well-organized tour with a nice guide Shiva (sorry for the spelling). Knowledgeable and gave us very good facts. The driver safely took us through the intense Mumbai traffic. We recommend
I did a solo guided tour, and was so pleased to be paired with my new friend Mankuu. “Mac” was so patient and kind with me. He showed me all over the city, including a two hour tour through Dharavi. We paired up with a local resident, and I learned so much from both of them. They took me places I never would have entered alone, and the experience was unbelievable. I cannot say enough about this tour and highly recommend it, especially with Mac!!!!
Thank you so much for the lovely review! 😊 We’re really happy Mac’s kindness, patience and local knowledge made your solo experience so special. It was a pleasure showing you Mumbai and Dharavi, and we’ll be sure to share your kind words with him. Thank you for choosing Mumbai with Locals! ❤️🇮🇳
Very good, explained very clearly! The tour is very friendly, the whole journey will not be too hasty and will also make me ask questions, great
Sufiyan was an incredible tour guide. Mumbai was our first city, and he made us feel very welcome as we learned a great deal of history + interesting stories about each stop we visited. The slum tour was a highlight. Sufiyan expertly guided us through the narrow streets while explaining the differences found in each area. He introduced us to life within the community and catered to our groups needs (coffee, fruit from the market, lunch). We especially enjoyed the market and train rides all because of Sufiyan. If you can, would highly recommend trying to book with him!
Great tour that introduces you to the city's great sites. Sunil is an excellent guide, very accommodating and knowledgeable, with a great sense of humor. The highlight of this trip was the slums, and he guided us through the many narrow alleys with ease. I recommend sensible clothing for this trip, enclosed shoes, and definitely not a good idea for ladies to wear short shorts. A good trip to take, regardless of how much time you have in Mumbai.
Fantastic and informative experience. Tour guide Jana is phenomenal ! Extremely knowledgeable, personable, showed and taught us ALOT and gave us an incredible opportunity to experience the culture! This tour with Jana is a must! Driver Vasim is an expert negotiating Mumbai traffic. This tour is Highly recommended!
Our guide Abhi made our day in Mumbai one of the best experiences we have ever had in this incredible city. He showed us some hidden gems in Mumbai that we didn't even know existed !! The highlight was a tour of the Dharvi Slums - such an amazing story and Abhi's tour through the slums was informative and eye opening in so many ways. We would highly recommend doing this tour - and make sure you ask for Abhi !!
Having completed the food tour with jitu, we booked onto his slum tour also…it was such an experience that I will remember forever. Such an eye-opening way of life, he were able to ask so many questions and understand the way of life here. Really insightful. Thank you. I would say this is an absolute MUST do!
Great experience. It gives you a different perspective in life. I see humanity and happy kids in there. They don't get to choose where they were born, but I like the positive energy and attitudes they have. Hopefully, one day they will make it out. I'm also glad to hear that slum rebuilding project has started. So there is still hope. Sajid was a great guide. He is knowledgeable and fun to chat with. He explained there are two sects of Jains. Both are devoted. Wasim, our driver, he said his manager is the third kind - extra devoted when there is a problem in life.
