ロンドン劇場: 悪魔はプラダを着る

Brilliant show. Characters fabulously cast. Voices amazing. Sets are wonderful. Loved it all. So worth a visit.

Worst show I have ever been to. I feel it is over hyped due to some of the casting but even though I was so looking forward to seeing Vanessa Williams, her performance came off flat and dull. We left at intermission. I know it is a musical but it was beyond cheesy, the songs were naff, could hardly understand a word anyone was saying/singing with the American twang they were trying to put on everything and the sound in the theatre itself was horrendous. Overall disappointing night and will not be returning. We only spend £50 for two tickets, which was a great view but that was the only thing good about it.

Starting with the positives: The actress who played Emily was great, a highlight of the show. A couple of the sets such as the Eiffel tower were amazing. The Negatives: The songs were not memorable and were repetitive, there was no showstopper. Andy's character was not well cast and the interactions with Nate were cringe and cheesy. one of the previous reviews mentioned the costumes were more 'M&S' than 'Vogue' which was spot on. Overall, it was just okay and we managed to sit through it to the end, but I wouldn't recommend it.

There were a couple of stellar performances. I liked the young woman playing the first assistant, the Stanley tucci performer, and the boyfriend. The other roles just fell really flat for me and I found myself feeling quite bored. Even the costumes weren't anything to to look at. It just felt like they'd grabbed them out of Marks and Spencer, with a few exceptions. Some of the strip lights really struck the audience in the face and the sound was too loud and harsh. It fell flat for me because it didn't dig deeper and reinterpret the film at all

Fun and great choreography. Unfortunately the bass was too high/loud and competed with the singers sometimes drowning them out. A few numbers were just noisy. Great cast generally especially Emily and Miranda. Weak Andi ...poor diction made you have to concentrate too hard. Didn't finish lots of her words. 3.5/5

Went to see The Devil Wears Prada during the week, so it wasn’t a full theatre, but honestly, that didn’t change the experience at all! The show was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The performances, music, costumes and overall production were fantastic, and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.

The Devil Wears Prada This was brilliant. Loved everything about it, definately good fun. I would recommend. I am confused by the negative reviews. I have watched many musicals at the theatre and this is up there with my top 5. Go and enjoy.

Shocking. Very flat from the start. A lot of strutting about and not a lot else. It was like watching a bad amateur dramatic performance at best. Cannot believe this is a West End Show. Save your money and go see something else. Left at the interval which couldn’t come too soon.

We were a group of five - two adults and three younger teen girls visiting as part of kids theatre week. We had great seats in row t of the stalls and thoroughly enjoyed the show. The fashions were amazing. Loved Vanessa Williams and the other actors and actresses were fantastic. A really positive experience.
