Great boat, great captain, great time! Captain Bill was entertaining and knowledgeable about catching Salmon. The boat and gear were in excellent condition. We caught plenty of pink salmon to send home!

Our private salmon fishing charter with Captain Alec was the highlight of our Alaksa trip. He met us right at our cruise ship, making things quick and easy from the start. We caught a ton of fish, and Captain Alec was hands on the whole time. He's also a great storyteller, sharing local knowledge that made the trip feel personal rather than a standard tour. Even our two teenagers called it the best part of their week, which says a lot. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a fun, successful fishing charter in Ketchikan.

This was our first time salmon fishing as a family and we had an absolute blast. Captain Frank was friendly, professional and worked hard as we reeled in 23 salmon among the four of us during our 4 hour fishing charter. It was an incredible day, would highly recommend! Captain Frank was the best.

Highlight of our Alaska trip ! We caught the Salmon limit and shipping it home . Captain Nolan made this so much fun for our crew . Highly recommend booking through ASZ vs a cruise ship. We saw amazing wildlife up close! Eagles, Humpback Whales, Jelly Fish, even a deer swimming across a cannel! It was like combining 3 cruise excursions in one! It was an amazing way to spend my Husband's birthday! They even have the ability to process the fish and have them sent to us after we returned home from our cruise. So worth it! This fishing charter was fantastic for our novice fishing family! Nolan was fun, humorous, interactive and an expert fisherman. He picked us up in the Visitor Center Parking Lot right off the cruise gangway and drove us to his boat. His boat is clean and well maintained. We caught 8 salmon and 1 bass. All six of us were able to reel in a fish! He also had our fish processed and mailed to us with arrival once we got home. Highly recommend this private charter! Booking was easy, communication the week before was sub-par due to an illness of one of the administrative staff but we got a text the day prior confirming our meeting time and location. The day of the charter was perfect!

Great trip! Nolan and Logan worked very hard to see that we had an enjoyable trip and caught fish. I recommend this trip to anyone. My wife had never experienced anything like this and this was one of the highlights of her cruise! I encouraged her to go just for the scenery and to see whales. We saw multiple whales along with eagles, sea lions and other wildlife. She is ready to go back. Their boats are comfortable with cabins to get out of the weather if necessary and have bathrooms if needed by the ladies.

Nolan arrived to our cruise ship early. He shuttled us quickly to his boat, which was well-outfitted, and after a quick safety walkthrough, he proceeded to beat the tar out of the fish with us for hours and hours. He wore the kids out. We limited halibut in under 90 minutes after putting a few keeper salmon in the box and releasing many more. I take a lot of guided fishing trips. Nolan and Alaska Strike Zone are definitely in my “would use again” list. Totally worth it.

Captain Todd and his crew are amazing. Boat is comfortable rain or shine so don’t hesitate to book with him. Our family had a wonderful time and caught a boat load of fish. My MIL caught the king of kings salmon at 41in long and 30.5lbs. We all caught good sized fish and the delicious meat should be delivered tomorrow! Happy fishing!

Love the captain Todd. We caught a lot of fish , plus a 41 inch King Salmon. We are going to mount it , plus 39 pounds of meat to take home.
