Incredible experience! A visit to an actual working farm. Ana was so fun in showing us around & leading the cooking class. We got to prepare Santorini salad, fried white eggplant & zucchini (huge!), fava, tomato jam, and then all eaten under the trees at the farm. This experience reminds you of how eating should be. Ana’s warmth & hospitality are unrivaled, and it’s so interesting to learn about a real working farm. BTW, Greek tomatoes are even better than Italy’s.
This was such a great experience! From our driver and all of his local knowledge, to our guide Ana who was so friendly and full of interesting facts, we got so much more out of this experience than we expected. The cooking class was fun and our food was delicious and so were the wines we tasted. And, the tour of the charming local village was a great way to end the day.
Our family of five, which includes a grade schooler, booked this kind of on a whim. It turned out to be the best thing we did on the island. Anna was a remarkable host… She clearly has a passion for traditional farming methods, and for the local Santorini culture and farming community. We learned how to take simple but fresh ingredients and turn them into a beautiful lunch. We also got a lot of history and perspective from her during our time there. We would highly recommend this for people who want what I would call an authentic experience versus somethingthat’s more of a tour. I’m not sure how frequent it is to not have other parties with you but for us it felt like we were invited into somebody’s home for lunch for three hours.
We would recommend this tour to everyone. Had such a wonderful time! Ana was incredible. We had such a great time cooking and learning about Petros farm.
This trip was both enlightening and enjoyable. Although I had visited Santorini before, this experience allowed me to discover the island’s authentic side, making me fall in love with it all over again. We cooked delicious local dishes and tasted the most amazing tomatoes, grown in Santorini’s volcanic soil without any irrigation. Not only is this fascinating, but it also gives them an incredible flavor. Anna was the perfect host, full of enthusiasm for the island and passionate about keeping its traditions and culture alive. She made us feel like part of the family.
I spent 4days in Santorini and I wanted to see how this special family (local farmer team!) develop the technique to grow these delicious tomatoes, zucchini, aubergine and grape by use the natural volcanic soil’s regulation system. Anna (our guide-teacher!) was extremely enthusiastic about the way of living in Santorini and she welcomed us (me and a lovely couple) with open heart to her real Santorinian farm house kitchen. We cooked the tomatoes, aubergine & zucchini flitter like properly hands on!! Such fun 🤩. Then enjoyed them with 4 different types of wine in the beautiful farm ground setting in the shade of Santorini sunshine. What a beautiful day I had! Thank you so much. I felt loved by you Anna!
We had a wonderful time at Anydro farm! Anna was super nice, giving the cooking, the food and the tour a cozy atmosphere. In addition, we had a nice meal and learned a lot about the island and the local culture.
This was one of my favorite experiences in Santorini. It was great for families and provided an incredible dinner, delicious wines and a truly unique introduction to the local history. The food was challenging enough to keep cooks engaged while being flexible that everyone could participate.
