Elena was an exceptional guide. She found out what were interested in and tailored our trip to suit us. It was like we were taking a tour with a friend. We highly reccommend Elena as a guide who will make sure you have a special day that will stay with you for life. Thanks Elena for the great day at Taormina and Castelmolar. You are welcome in Australia anytime to see the kangaroos.

We did this tour with Marco and he was great. We asked to change our pickup spot last minute and he didn’t hesitate. He spoke very good English and provided a wealth of information during our tour. He pointed out lots of great restaurants and gelato places. He was also fantastic at taking pictures of us throughout the day. I would like to have him follow along on our entire trip to document. His driving was safe and it was a very fun day.

We met Elena, our guide, at the port after our tender dropped us off. Elena was very personable and friendly, and was totally open to how we wanted to customize the tour. She had a great suggestion for heading up to Castelmona first, where she took us to a great pub/bar with some “interesting” decorations. She explained about the various parts of the area, and then later we drove down to Taormina, where we went to a great Arancino spot, which was amazing. We never would have found it or the other sites without Elena’s first hand knowledge of the area. We were very happy with Elena and was glad to hear she was ok after Mt. Etna erupted the day our ship left port.

We learned so much about Taormina’s past and saw hidden gems off the main streets. Marco was an excellent guide with perfect English and spoke with emotion.

Excellent tour guide in Catania. Sicily, Italy. I may mot spell it correctly . Cheers to Carrillo. He gave excellent instructions where to meet us by the cruise port. We saw everything and even did some shopping. Beautiful historic sites and architecture. Castelmola was picturesque. Our tour included visiting a family owned cannoli shop to watch them make the delicious treats . We each enjoyed a cannoli. Our day ended with tasting arancini and almond wine from the region. His English was excellent and his car was clean and cool. We invited him to come visit us in Texas and we would take him to a Texan livestock show and rodeo in Houston . It was an amazing day.

We LOVED this tour!! Taormina is gorgeous and our guide Corrado was awesome! He gave us just enough info without boring us with facts and history. Plus he took us to the most amazing and oldest cannoli shop in the town! We then headed up to Castelmola which was a spectacular mountain top town and had lunch at a very interesting and very delicious restaurant! It was a fantastic day! I highly recommend this tour!

Corrado was terrific. He had so much knowledge about the area and knew where to direct us that we would have missed on our own. The towns were beautiful and some of our favorite. He also knew the best places for a snack and best cannoli we have ever had!
