Excellent tour and guide
Excellent tour. We went on the 15.30 and our guide made the tour really interesting and fun. The guide explained the importance of the walls for both trade and defence over the years. The views are amazing so really good for photos so the steps are worth it!

City Wall Tour...Just do it!
I took the 9:00 a.m. tour. It was a very busy day at the Old City. Thankfully we had headsets so we could hear our guide talk on his microphone. Our guide was quite knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information and history you wouldn't get if you just walked the wall on your own. Walking along the walls and hearing the history made it so much more interesting, but if you have a fear of heights or edges this is tour might not be for you. It was very crowded but our guide allowed crowds to pass so we weren't stuck in long lines. The 2 hour tour was just the right amount of time but you were encouraged to stay and explore on your own. Dubrovnik was extremely busy and with tourists and very hot even in early September so I am happy we were not there during the peak season. I had no issue with the fee as I consider this a great way to experience a part of history and learn about the region.

It was great! Learned so much and it was great to go early because of crowds. Going at 9 saved us from lots of people in the way!

Great history and natural beauty. Moderate exertion, especially when it is hot. Darvo (tour guide) was knowledgeable and approachable.

Must do!!
It’s a must do if you are visiting Dubrovnik old town. Walking the castle walls would not be the same without understanding the history.
