Francisco (Frank) was an awesome guide - patient, informative and proud about his beautiful Basque country. The bus was clean, safe, and cool; and, the driver was friendly and excellent.

We booked a tour in Bilbao, Spain, and unfortunately our Uber driver took us to the wrong location despite having the correct destination entered into the app. As soon as we realised there was a problem, we attempted to contact the tour operator through the Viator platform to advise them of the situation and make alternative arrangements. The most frustrating part of this experience was that our messages through the Viator platform went unanswered. We were actively trying to communicate and find a solution, but received no response when it mattered most. After the tour departed, we contacted Viator and requested a refund or some form of goodwill consideration given the circumstances and our documented attempts to communicate. Despite multiple reviews of the case, Viator repeatedly focused on the fact that we missed the tour and largely ignored the issue that the tour operator did not respond to our messages through their platform. I understand that tours have schedules and cannot wait indefinitely for late arrivals. However, when customers make genuine efforts to communicate an unexpected issue and those communications are not acknowledged, it is unreasonable for the entire loss to fall on the customer. What disappointed me most was not the missed tour itself, but Viator’s lack of flexibility, unwillingness to recognise the communication failure, and apparent disregard for the customer experience. Based on this experience, I would be very cautious about booking through Viator again.
We are sincerely sorry that you were unable to enjoy the tour. We would like to clarify that this was a shared group tour, not a private service. Our guide remained at the meeting point for approximately 20 minutes after the scheduled departure time, together with other guests who had arrived on time. After this waiting period, the tour had to depart in order not to negatively impact the experience of the rest of the group. We did receive your messages through the platform and, in an effort to manage the situation as effectively as possible, we contacted you directly by phone to determine your location. However, given the length of the delay, it was unfortunately not possible to postpone the departure any further. We also informed you of alternative dates on which you could join the tour, but unfortunately none of those options suited your schedule. We understand how frustrating this situation must have been and we genuinely regret that circumstances beyond our control affected your experience. However, the delay in arriving at the meeting point was not the responsibility of our team, and we followed our standard procedures to ensure the tour could proceed smoothly for all participants. Thank you for your feedback, and we wish you an enjoyable stay in Bilbao.
Fabulous trip. The places we visited were so nice, just wish we could have had more time there. Unai was a really good knowledgable guide.

Lovely cities to visit, but timing for these visits is off. Smaller cities have siestas and close up so tgeres nothing to do. San Sebastian is the only vibrant city of the 3. We did not get full time there.

This was a great trip to get a taste of what these 3 beach towns have to offer. Aitor, our tour guide was very informative during the trip. He gave us info about the areas we drove through on our way and sent us off in the right directions in the towns. In San Sebastion he gave a nice tour of the history of the city and then great recommendations for Pitxos and drink! We definitely had enough time in each town and did not feel rushed.

We missed the tour, as the bus left at 8:30 am and we were there at 8:29 am, together with other 2 people. When I contacted the tour operator the next day, we were told that we should have been there at 8:20 am. Nowhere in the voucher received from Viator it said to be there at 8:20 am. Either it is a error of Viator or the tour operator. Anyways, the tour operator refused to re book us for the same tour for another day. Over all, it was a bad experience.
