A perfect tour, very good explanations, the guide kindly answered all the questions, a ten
Beautiful city and nice tour. We did the full tour of all three locations, however after each site, we had to wait whilst other people left and joined the tour for the part they had paid for, hence there was too much waiting around. The guide was knowledgeable but could have been more engaging by bringing a bit of theatre / story telling to the tour. The mosque/ cathedral was the highlight of the tour and amazing to see. Bring your own water.
Thank you for your detailed feedback, Shane. We’re glad you enjoyed the city and found the Mosque-Cathedral amazing. We understand that the regrouping between the different parts of the tour can feel like waiting, but this is necessary when guests have booked different sections of the combined experience. Our guides are trained and knowledgeable, and we appreciate your comments regarding the storytelling and engagement. We’ll take this feedback on board as we continue improving the experience. Best regards, OWAY Tours
Cathedral is beautiful. Christina (sp?) is a nice tour guide but her English has a thick accent, and we and other visitors couldn't understand much of her information sharing. The day was extremely hot, and walking around in the heat looking at the not so impressive garden, unlike how the site describes, and not understanding the guide made the tour unbearably boring and tiring. Super disappointed with Cordoba day for us as a result.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that the experience did not fully meet your expectations. Regarding the Alcázar, the monument has been undergoing restoration work, something that is beyond our control. Whenever these closures are announced by the monument authorities, we always inform our customers in advance and adapt the itinerary accordingly. We're also sorry to hear that you found it difficult to understand Cristina. She is one of our most experienced guides and regularly receives excellent reviews from English-speaking visitors for her knowledge, professionalism, and enthusiasm. We understand that accents can sometimes be more challenging depending on each person's familiarity with different English speakers, and we regret that this affected your experience. We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to provide the best possible experience for all our guests. Kind regards, OWAY Tours
Excellent tour, the route was very interesting and the guide provided great commentary on the history and architecture.
¡Muchas gracias por su comentario! Nos alegra mucho saber que disfrutó del recorrido y de las explicaciones sobre la historia y arquitectura de Córdoba. Gracias también por recomendarnos. Un saludo de parte del equipo de OWAY Tours
This was a good tour, but the inside of Alcazar was closed for repairs. This should have been said before offering the tour. This tour offers Mosque-Cathedral, Alcazar & Synagogue. The substitute was the roman bridge and we didn’t received what was offer instead.
Thank you for your feedback. We understand your disappointment regarding the Alcázar closure. Unfortunately, the monument’s opening situation changed several times and, at the moment many reservations were made, it was still expected to reopen. Later, the local authorities decided to keep it closed longer than initially planned. Whenever this happens, we inform clients as soon as possible and offer an adapted itinerary so the experience can continue including other important historical areas of Córdoba. We appreciate your comments and your understanding. Best regards, OWAY Tours
It was a very good experience. We learned a lot and were amazed by the culture. Mikaela, the guide, was very knowledgeable and had incredible stamina. She delivered an engaging and informative commentary throughout the entire tour.
Thank you very much for your lovely review. We’re very happy to hear that you had such a positive experience and that Mikaela’s knowledge and energy made the tour engaging and informative. Best Regards, the OWAY Tours team
The Tour Company Very well organized, and communication via email, and Wassup. Gloria was friendly, knowledgeable, great communication with members of the tour
Thank you for your great feedback, Ivan. We’re happy to know that everything ran smoothly and that Gloria made the tour enjoyable with her knowledge and clear communication. It’s wonderful to hear that our organization and communication met your expectations. Best regards, OWAY Tours
The was an unbelievable experience that I would ask anyone going to Cordoba to book! Our guide was great, but the history of this place would just blow you away.
What a wonderful experience! The historical information made the sights come alive as we learned the life of the city under the different governances and religions
Inside the Mosque! Truly more beautiful than any photo we had ever seen . Our guide was so knowledge. We loved her. Unfortunately we got few minutes late (5) and its was stress finding parking so we did not get her name ? She was great though 👍
