We thoroughly enjoyed this Lecce food tour. The food was delicious and our guide was knowledgeable and easy to spend the morning with. I definitely recommend for those looking for a taste of Lecce, literally and historically!

This is such a good way of experiencing and learning about Lecce and the Salento area, not just the history but also learning and experiencing the culture through street food. We stopped at five places with delicious bites to eat and Nadia was great is explaining the different food, where they come from and how they are made. We really enjoyed spending the morning with her and can highly recommended it.

Nadia was an excellent guide and a very nice and considerate person. All the food tastings were well planned and delightful. She explained everything in the historic area, while keeping us in the shade for our comfort.

Lecce is a beautiful and fascinating city. We enjoyed learning about its food and history with, Rosy, our wonderful tour guide! Rosy took us on a stroll through the old town where we sampled both local foods and history. Like so many other cities in Italy (and Europe), the history is often a story of conquest and invasions. We learned about this aspect of Lecce’s past along with how the different people affected the architecture and food. Throughout our time with Rosy, we were enthralled by her stories. I may have missed some details because I drifted away to photograph this amazing city. I would have welcomed a few more hours with Rosy and I felt we just touched on Lecce. My wife and I came away from the tour wanting to return to Lecce. I couldn’t give Rosy and the tour a better vote of confidence! I strongly recommend taking a tour with her.

We do a lot of food tours. And this one was PERFECT. Monica our guide knew how to balance historical facts, legends, and architectural details. Plus the tastings were very well distributed and varied. BRAVO

This was a great tour of the city center of Lecce. Our guide, Antonella, had a wealth of information and shared it with us! We learned so many interesting details about Lecce, southern Italy and the surrounding area. The food on the tour was a good representation of local street food. Not all of the items we tried were to our taste but most were yummy. The best part of the tour was Antonella! Her personality, knowledge of the area and passion for what she does, was totally apparent. When my friend had a shoe failure in the middle of the tour, Antonella was very accommodating and slowed down to a stroll so my friend could keep up. She really went above and beyond to make our experience a treasure.

Antonella was a brilliant guide, gave us a great history lesson as we walked through the beautiful old town. Highly recommended!
