The tour was such and interesting and amazing experience. Definitely a must to add to you dublin experience! Shoutout to the tour guide Ross made the experience even more incredible. This was an amazing tour! We did the mythology tour of Dublin and learned both about Dublins history and historical points about Ireland and how that ties in to culture and even architecture. We had Ross as our guide and he did a great just entertaining and tying together all his stories. Took about 2 hours but was 100% worth the time.
Fun tour! Our guide, Helene, takes her mythology and folklore seriously--but with just enough skepticism. Starting in Temple Bar, we made several stops at sites where she could relate the architecture or iconography of public spaces to the kegends and stories. She is a great story-teller and handled all our questins with ease. We were in the middle of a literary tour, and Helene's stories gave us a deeper understanding of the culture and background that infused the work of W.B. Yeats, Bram Stoker, and even James Joyce.
This was such a great tour. Alan was very fun and knowledgeable. None of us knew anything about Irish mythology and he gave a well-informed overview. What a delight. Highly recommend.
Alan is an outstanding guide - immediately friendly, engaging and impressively knowledgable - often tying information in with familiar details from my home (Edinburgh) and other places, to really involve his audience. Our tour guide was Alan and his passion for the city and Ireland as a whole was palpable. I usually go on purely “historical” tours when I travel, this was my first mythology/folklore tour and I loved it. We had very hot weather and Alan did his best to keep us in a shade, which was very much appreciated. Definitely recommend this tour, fun way to pass time and learn about this beautiful country’s origins.

This was a wonderful tour! We walked around Dublin learning about many myths and folktales. We also heard a lot about the history of Dublin and the people of Ireland. The tour was an easy pace and engaging. This was a great way to kick off our holiday!
Emily was a wonderful guide — warm, knowledgeable and a great storyteller. She brought Irish mythology, folklore and history to life in such an engaging way. I especially loved the stories of the Salmon of Knowledge, Banshee, Fairy Trees and Púca. A memorable and meaningful tour — highly recommended!
Our guide was personable, enthusiastic, knowledgable and funny, She imparted a great deal of information to us in the 2+ hours we were together. Plus a downpour during the last 20 minutes did not dampen her enthusiasm! It was a fun and interesting tour and we highly recommend it.
