聖フリプシメ教会はエチミアジン市の有名な教会建築の一つである。 これはアルメニアのクロスキューポラ教会の発達した完璧な例である。 教会は建築の簡素さとロフト感で注目に値する。 キリスト教の殉教者聖母フリプシメの墓は教会の聖具室にある。 ユネスコの世界文化遺産リストに登録されている。
エチミアジン大聖堂からそう遠くない、アララトの白い峰を背景に、聖ガヤネ教会のキューポラのシルエットを見ることができる。 7世紀に建てられたドーム式バシリカ様式に属する。 伝説によると、この教会はキリスト教を説いて殉教した聖母ガヤネの墓の上に建てられた。 ユネスコの世界文化遺産リストに登録されている。
アルメニア使徒教会の中心 – 聖エチミアジンはエレバンから20km離れたところにある。 エチミアジン大聖堂は4世紀初頭に創建され、世界最古の教会の一つである。 伝説によると、教会は夢の中でグレゴリウス・ザ・イルミネーターにイエス・キリストの亡霊が見えた場所に建てられた。 教会内部はフレスコ画で覆われており、これはホヴナタニャン家の手によるものである。 カトリック教徒の住居と神学アカデミーは大聖堂の近くにある。 ユネスコの世界文化遺産リストに登録されている。
