I’ve visited a lot of cemeteries and this is by far the best guided tour I’ve experienced. Alex is very knowledgeable and passionate tour guide. He provided a wealth of historical and cultural context that made our visit quite meaningful and memorable. Many thanks!
Lou was exceptional! She filled in so much history about each of the famous graves. She was personally very helpful to me at 85 years old. Highly recommend her!
Great tour with Alex. He’s clearly very knowledgeable about Pere Lachaise and cares about treating the place with respect. I ended up being the only one on the tour and really appreciated him accommodating me as a solo traveler.
Thank you for your kind words. Glad you enjoyed Alex's expertise, he'll be pleased with your review :)
Alex was very knowledgeable about many of the interesting sites at Père Lachaise. It was a great 2 hour tour. We would never have figured these out for ourselves. So glad we took the tour. He went at our pace and showed us many interesting things. I highly recommend Alex for this tour
Our guide Hugo was wonderful! He was knowledgeable, fun and very accommodating. He helped us to see everything we wanted - and then some. We had a terrific experience and highly redommend this excursion with Hugo!
Clara did an amazing job. The tour was informative and entertaining. The meeting place was easy to find. The cemetery was easily walkable, even on a cold, damp morning.
Alex provided an outstanding tour. We received much more than anticipated. One of our best tours on a two week trip of Paris/Normandie. He was enthusiastic and knowledgeable.
Alex was an outstanding guide. We could tell he really loves what he does. He went out of his way to accommodate what we wanted but also surprised us with own research into so many varied grave sites. Chef’s kiss, it was a wonderful afternoon!
Alex walked us through a beautiful setting with all the information to make it a great experience to make it a worthwhile visit.
We had a terrific tour of Pere Lachaise Cemetery with Valentin. His extensive knowledge of French history provided context for the famous tombs and monuments we visited. He helped us understand the contributions each person had made to France and the world. Val also explained the history of the cemetery itself and its connection to the development of Paris. This tour was really one of the highlights of our visit to Paris.
