Guide very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Chair lift was nice. Pickup was on time and he was nice enough to drop us off at our cruise ship.
I had an amazing experience on the chairlift and hill tour today! Our guide Viktor was fantastic — very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He made the whole tour enjoyable and fun. The views from the top were absolutely beautiful and unforgettable. Thank you, Viktor, for such a great experience. Highly recommended!
A very friendly welcome. Nice passengers, incredible views. Punctual , Funny and always an anecdote left. All in all recommended.
This would have been terrific if the chairlift had been operating… our guide Viktor was a great sport and salvaged the tour by driving us as far north as he could and then we walked about 30 minutes to get to the lookout tower. It worked out well and there was a stop in the national park where we could use restrooms, get drinks, food and gelato.
What a great use of time! This tour took us out of the city, to a cooler (temperature wise) part of Budapest. Scenic, tree lined streets and beautiful homes. We arrived just as the chairlift was opening so for a while, had the monument to just our small group. If you have the time, I’d highly recommend this tour. You get a birds-eye view of the city.
The guide was so nice and had stories to tell to every single one of his guests wherever they came from.
Although you’ll be walking on a paved road, be aware that it’s a steep climb up to the tower. It’s absolutely worth it once you’re there, though. And the chair lift was a quiet, peaceful ride just above the treetops, providing an amazing view of the city.
A beautiful way to see the entire city and other regions of Budapest. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. It is a bit of a hike to the top after the chairlift but it’s definitely worth it!!
I sent my son on this chairlift experience. When he got to the meeting point, the guide was there but none of the other patrons. The guide, Victor, kindly offered to take my son around the city, free of charge and take him to a later chairlift with the 12:30 group. As my son was traveling alone, he accepted. He had nothing but wonderful things to say about Victor the guide. Victor showed him sights in the city he might not have seen otherwise. He told him history of Budapest and interesting facts. My son said the day could not have been better. The chairlift experience was top notch! Victor easily could have canceled my son's reservation or told him to come back at 12:30, but he went far out of his way on his own time. Unbelievable kindness! I wish there were more than just 5 stars. This experience made my son's stay in Budapest amazing!
This event was great! The guide provided great details about the meeting location and specifics to be aware of related to the booking prior to the event date. The chair lift was fun, and there's about a 10-minute walk after the top of the chair lift before you arrive at the Elizabeth Tower lookout point.
