The guide Dk took us on a tour through the Dharavi neighborhood, which is where he lives, and we were delighted with the experience. They picked us up at the airport and took us to the hotel after the tour. A total success

Action-Packed Day in Mumbai: Dharavi Slum Tour & Private Sightseeing Tour
My daughters and I made the most of our one day in Mumbai with a Dharavi slum tour led by Dhiraj and a city tour led by Shalmali. Shamshor was our reliable driver for the full day. The slum was fascinating to experience in person and Dhiraj explained the history behind it. Lunch was at an actual family’s home with a home cooked meal being a wonderful touch. The afternoon was a frenzied tour covering so many different sites from different periods of the city’s history. Shalmali did an excellent job of explaining it all. The day, while exhausting, was exactly what we needed.

We greatly enjoyed our private tour through Dharavi. Our guide, Varsha, was very knowledgeable and personable, and easily navigated us through back streets and side corridors. It was interesting to witness the industrial, commercial and residential aspects of this community. We highly recommend it.

Excellent tour and guide
We had an excellent tour with Dhiraj, he was very helpful, informative and thorough. The Dharavi slum is a world of its own, and it was fascinating to discover it with somebody who lives there. We would strongly reccommend this tour.

Great small group tour of Mumbai’s Dharavi Slum area.
Magical Mumbai Tours arranged a great guide, Sneha, who provided a fascinating small group (only 8 people) tour of the Dharavi Slums … visiting both the commercial and residential areas. The people we met on the tour as well as the residents of Dharavi were all very nice and welcoming.
