カトマンズの日帰りツアーには、カトマンズのダルバール スクワイア、スワヤンブナート、ボダナート、パスパティナート寺院への訪問が含まれます。ホテルで朝食をとった後、午前 9 時から午前 9 時 30 分にホテルを出発します。 16:00 ツアー終了後、ホテルにお迎えにあがります。

カトマンズの西 3 km の丘の上に位置し、ネパールで最も神聖な仏教のチャイティヤの 1 つです。 2,000 年以上前に原初の湖から谷ができたときに自然に進化したと言われています。この仏塔はネパールで最も古く、敷地内には数多くの神社や僧院があります。
カトマンズのダルバール広場は、カトマンズ旧市街のバサンタプルの中心部にあり、マッラ時代に建てられた宮殿、中庭、寺院のアンサンブルで、初めての訪問者を感動させることは決してありません。ダルバール広場には、歴史的に王族の居城であったハヌマーン ドーカ王宮があります。高さ 40 メートルを超える壮大なタレジュ寺院。生きている女神、クマリの住居であるクマリガル。 Ashok Vinayak、カトマンズ ガネーシュとも呼ばれる、親孝行のない寺院。そして怒りの神、カル・バイラフ。首都の名前は、1 本の木から建てられたと言われているカスタマンダップの巨大な仏塔に由来しています。マッラ王の時代から、ダルバール広場は街の社会的、宗教的、政治的中心地でした。
ボダナート ストゥーパは、カトマンズのダウンタウンの東 8 km に位置し、トリブバン国際空港に着陸するとすぐに見える、カトマンズで最も印象的なランドマークの 1 つです。カトマンズ盆地で最大の仏塔で、チベット仏教の中心地です。
パスパティナート寺院はカトマンズの東 5 km に位置し、シヴァ神の寺院は世界で最も神聖なヒンズー教の寺院の 1 つと見なされています。金色の屋根と銀色の扉を備えた 2 層の塔には、シヴァ神の神聖なリンガ、つまり男根のシンボルが納められています。年代記によると、この寺院は西暦 400 年より前に存在していたことが示されています。バグマティ川のほとりにあるパシュパティナート寺院の近くにグヘスワリがあり、神話によると、悲しみに打ちひしがれたシヴァが目的もなく地上をさまよったときに、シヴァ神の配偶者であるサティ デヴィの一部が倒れた場所です。彼女の焼身自殺の後、彼女の死体を肩に乗せて運んでいます。

As part of the Everest Base Camp package we booked through Tripadeal in Australia (supplied by Outfitter Himalaya Holidays), we had a day tour of Kathmand included. Our guide for the day was Subitha and we could not have scored a better guide. Subitha spoke excellent English. She was passionate about what she was showing and telling us, she was engaging and happy to answer our many questions. The day ran smoothly and all four sites we were taken to were really interesting. Witnessing public cremations at Pashupatinath Temple has to be seen to believed and we saw the living goddess Kumari of Kathmandu (a 3year old child - revered by Hindu’s and Buddhist’s as the earthly manifestation of the divine female energy) while at Durbar Square.

Arjun and his crew were great. They were there for us 125%. They were able to modify my trip to match my disability and let my friend continue his trek. The city guide, Sabita, even went to a local pharmacy and obtained meds that i had ran out of and needed badly. I recommed Outfitter Himalayas very highly. They will go out of their way to satisfy their customets.

What an amazing experience we had, 10 days in Nepal, such great service from these guys. Suraj was an amazing guide and looked after us with 5 star service.
