I had a sensational, transformative and unforgettable experience. The Atacama sky is really the most beautiful and starry I've ever seen in my life. I am immensely grateful to Expediciones for providing me with this experience in a proud and safe way. I thank the entire team, from the vendor who assembled and adjusted my travel plan to my connection goal (because it was a journey of loneliness and personal expansion). Not only the seller, but also the team who was organizing everything and always keeping in touch and warning about the schedules, what to take, etc. Still, the guide created a friendly atmosphere among everyone and even traveling alone, also felt welcomed in the group and, it is worth mentioning also that they offer a glass of wine so that you toast for the wonderful life under the most starry sky, it is really magical. This trip is definitely in the box of the most special trips I have ever made. Only gratitude and recommendation, go confident and enthusiastic. Expediciones really organizes everything and you just have to enjoy.

The company that took us was to Pukarumi, which we loved on all the tours except this (astronomical tour). This did not have a guide, only the driver who took us to the place, but he didn't even get off the car to take us to the tour, arriving there had a very long lecture because the girl spoke everything in English and then everything in Spanish for a group of more than 20 people (it was possible to separate the group to speak English and another to speak Spanish, because in this way it was very massive and time consuming. The food was cold, there was a fridge for you to heat the food yourself (since the group was too big it became quite disorganized until I gave up eating some things), the hot chocolate was a bad chocolate. The photographer was not very friendly and did not have much patience to help with poses for the photos. The driver warned to return at the end to the van saying his name, but had another driver with the same name from another van, so people entered the wrong van, also disorganized. The sky is wonderful indeed, but the experience left to be desired.

This review is really for information only. First, what the tour is, and what it is not. It is a spanish speaking tour with some english translation. About 80/20 to be fair. Second it is not a small group, ours had 16 people and two busses. Third, if you are looking for an opportunity to photograph the night sky, this is not it. This is a lecture where you can look at a couple of objects through a telescope, and the guide will take a photo of you, and provide you a few photos taken with the telescope. There will be snacks at the end and a ride home, we'll at least close to home, our driver dropped us a block from the hotel. If this is what you are looking for, then this is the tour for you.

Seeing the stars in Atacama is amazing however the detail is in service, so I can not give a good rating to this tour. They changed my tour date by mistake from the organizers, they never faced me and I had to advance the flight so I could take it.

The guide explains details of the sky and its constellations, then we have the opportunity to see some stars and planets by the telescope. On a night without a full moon should be even more interesting.

The night was appropriate (three-quarter moon). The sights were exhilarating! The guide too was very knowledgeable. Hopefully, when we receive the Moon, Saturn, and Concentration of Stars' HD photos; as also the promised two photos per person (for which we are still waiting), these will be fabulous too! And then followed by mulled wine + snacks. So, all the right ticks. However, the guide/astronomy expert, on being asked a naive question or being given an incorrect reply, should not mock, after asking one's nationality. It pinched!

A magical night in the desert. Under the clearest sky in the world, we saw Saturn and Jupiter through the telescope, heard ancestral stories and toasted with wine and hot chocolate. The Astronomical Tour of Expediciones San Pedro is science, culture and emotion in one moment — impossible not to be enchanted.

Those who actually do the tour (Daniel and his team) are fantastic. 100% professional, they dedicate whatever it takes for you to understand, understand and finally end up marveling at the tour (and of course the magnificent universe). We learned so much!! and then highlight the time spent seeing the stars, planet Saturn and of course the moon, Everything is fantastic. Those who sell you the tour (tour operator and the local agency in San Pedro de Atacama) are different companies. Very disorganized, they fill you to WhatsApp and ask you for information again. Then they send you several messages and among all, we received one where they asked us to pay again!! Hopefully Daniel reads this comment, as you rating that he loves what he does and cares about having a team that maintains his level of professionalism and dedication.
