Our experience with Ramón was absolutely incredible. His passion, knowledge, and dedication helped us better understand the ruins and pyramids near Ciudad de México from both a scientific and human perspective. He truly brought the rich history and culture of Mexico to life in a very engaging and meaningful way. You can clearly see how much he loves what he does, and that made the entire experience unforgettable. With the Soccer World Cup approaching, Ramón also shared many useful local tips and recommendations, which made the tour even more special and practical for future visitors. We highly recommend taking a tour with him if you have the opportunity. We would also like to thank Monse, who assisted us with transportation and mobility throughout the experience. She was incredibly sweet, kind, and attentive at all times. It is impossible not to recommend these wonderful people. Thank you both for making our visit so memorable! Edu And Chris
What a fantastic trip! Picked up at 8am by Daniele our driver and Bruno our guide. Both were so accommodating and patient. Went to Tula, which is a great spot as less visited than the others sites. Bruno's knowledge is remarkable. And as I read in another review, we chatted about many other things in car aside from the sites. Onwards to Teotiihuacan, stop off for a pleasant lunch around the site (with a great view of the pyramids whilst we ate) . Then on to the site where Bruno again shared his deep insight. We then were brought back to our air BnB. I would 100% recommend this. And I certainly suggest requesting Bruno and Daniele as your guide and driver. 🤗
Fantastic day out with Bruno our guide and Daniel our driver..They met us at our air BnB and we went to Tula..both were incredibly patient and accommodating. Bruno's breadth and depth of knowledge was super enjoyable to hear about . We even learnt new things about the influence of Ireland on Mexico. We arrived in Tula, got a great history of it and enjoyed the stroll there . We then moved on to a quick but hearty lunch before Teotiihuacan and spent an enjoyable couple of hours there, again Bruno's in depth knowledge was great .. Definitely take this tour, it's worth it ..
It was a great day! We are so glad we added Tula in for comparison and historical context. It's also a lot less touristy and crowded than Teotihuacan. Teotihuacan is a mind-blowing site, though! A must do. The tour guide, Jorge, and the driver, Arturo were great. Jorge is a historian, so had a wealth of knowledge and was very warm, patient, and friendly. We stopped at a restaurant and store at the end. The restaurant was really good and had a beautiful view of the pyramids. The store had an interesting lesson on obsidian, but we did feel really pressured to buy something, which I don't like feeling. Overall, a great day!
The tour was very well planned and gave us rich experiences at two great archeological sites. I am glad we chose a tour that included Tula as well as the more common Teotihuacán. It really added to our understanding of Mesoamerican civilizations, plus going to Tula first lets the early morning crowds at Teotihuacán dissipate, so we had a better experience there as well. Our guide, Carlos, was knowledgeable and so friendly; we really appreciated his passion for the sites we were seeing and all aspects of Mexican history and heritage. We had wide ranging conversation during our drives. It was a great day and we're very glad we did it.
Our day with Jorge (guide) and Arturo (driver) was excellent. Jorge studies history and was extremely knowledgeable not only about Tula and Teotihuacan but also anything else you are curious about. And if he doesn't know he'll look it up so as not to misinform you. He's very passionate and loves his job and history, making the tour even more fun. It seems many people miss Tula but I highly recommend it along with Teotihuacan. The lunch portion was pretty touristy but enjoyable enough.
Absolutely loved our tour. Our guide Jorge was super knowledgeable and excited to share the stories with us. We originally booked this tour, but ended up going back the next day to do another with this incredible team. Amazing sites and history that came to life for us. Thank you.
This was an absolutely fantastic tour. Ramón was the best tour guide I’ve ever had and I’ve been on a LOT of tours. He is exceptionally knowledgeable about Mesoamerican history — at the professor level. I’ve read several books about the history and toured many ruins (including Teotihuacan) before and I still learned so much. This was much better than my last Teotihuacan tour. It was just a total home run, head and shoulders above anything else I did in Mexico. The tour was very efficiently run and both sites, Tula and Teotihuacan, are very well worth the trip. Pickup and drop off were timely and convenient at Reforma (8AM / 4:30PM).
I rate this trip a 5. Sergio was a great tour guide very attentive. Very funny and entertaining throughout the entire tour. He is also very knowledgeable of Mexico’s history.
We’re were picked up on time in a nice and comfortable Honda at our hotel. We stopped first at Tula and it was unbelievable. The guide’s knowledge was amazing and that actually started in the city with an overview of Mexican history. It was a great day that included a stop for lunch that was delicious and served on an upper terrace. Next was Teotihuacán, it was a little late, but good. Much larger pyramids the expanse of which isn’t touched. Pro tip, ask about stopping at the third pyramid!
