My idea of a luxury beach is something other than stained lounge chairs, a rickety shed as a bar, and trash behind the shed. The underwater museum is worth seeing, but only accessible to experienced swimmers. You can take the excursion, but you can also skip it

The Underwater Museum was a good experience. What was horrible was the tour operator. The morning pick up, we were advised to arrive by 8:40 for 9am launch from Trogir, boat was 1 hour late to arrive. We were told there was a delay at the port getting the boat to us. Ok, they said we would not be penalized and ww would get our full time at the museum and provided free fins as apology (5€ value each). The boat seemed to be struggling in the sea on the way (only about 10 people on a 50 person boat) that wasn't a load capacity. We enjoyed our swim observing the museum and the beach. Then, we get to the island dock at the time advised for departure, the boat operators are in the engine room, .now 20+ mins later still not departed and we are told there is an issue with battery. Another 20+ minutes they advise they can not fix it, they have called for speed boat(s) not sure for 1or 2 will arrive, we may need to be shuttled back in waves. Over 1 hour later, no updates. Almost 2 hours past launch time they manage to get the boat operational to get us back to Trogir. A visiting boat (other tour operator) as pirate ship, should have gotten their name, took pity of us sitting on the dock in full sun and offered to let us sit on their boat and offered us free water and lemon water as we had to wait (last 45 mins on the island dock). Needless to say no matter how nice the museum was, our return to Trogir put a huge damper on the experience. Use another provider that goes to this museum, this one seemed to be only one that did just this activity, bundle up on island hop and go with another provider.

The "snorkel gear" is only the goggles and the tube or the mask; if you want fins, you pay for them separately. The bar prices are exaggeratedly high (but you can bring your own drinks and food from home). You also pay extra for the Balinese beds, just like if you want/have to use the restroom. That is where they make their money Otherwise, the site is very beautiful, but the sculptures are quite far from the beach, so if you are not a good swimmer, do not do it; they do not have mats or buoys where you can rest between the sculptures, at most they let you have some pool noodles so you can float. With children, that makes it very complicated. For us a bit disappointing, I would not repeat.

Amazing time. Roko was an amazing skipper would do it with him again. Worth the money and the views are beautiful!! 10/10

The whole trip takes about 4 hours with 2 of them spent at the "museum". It is good but even if you don't plan to go underwater you'll still need to be a confident swimmer to reach the sculptures. Fins are useful and can be rented for 5 euro extra. And expect the usual Croatian charge of a euro for the toilets or showers.

Recommend, take cash with you. Flippers €5 extra, toilet €1, drinks okay but cash only. Private sun lounge areas €20. There are 15 statues mostly gothic but still interesting. The plane wreck was good. You need to have a decent swimming experience and level as it takes about 1hr to go around all the exhibits.

Beautiful bay, not a good transfer, too expensive

The trip is very well organised and there is plenty of time for snorkling and relaxing on the beach. We are a family of 4 and had really good time. On the beach there is enough space for the entire group and everyone gets a chance to grab a sunbed. At the beach there is a bar with reasonable prices, cach and credit card payment is accepted. No lifeguard on the site. What was slightly inconvenient were speed boats going around the bay to facilitate private boats that were coming to the bay as well.
