Our guide, Irena, was very knowledgable and engaging and led our private tour at a comfortable pace bringing us to areas and historical sites we would never have discovered on our own. We happened to be there during the city’s annual celebration of their patron saint, Michael, so we also witnessed the huge procession of the church goers/citizens and could hear much of the mass and signing/music throughout the area.

Šibenik is such a beautiful city with 2 UNESCO sites. Irena our guide was most engaging and knowledgable and took us on a lovely journey to experience this town which is filled with history as well as stories of interesting people. Our group included 5 adults, 3 teenagers and a 10 year old but even the kids were caught up in Irenas description. Her love and passion for Šibenik is palpable. She recommended a lovely restaurant for lunch at the end of it. I highly recommend Šibenik and this Walking tour.
Sandara’s enthusiasm and obvious love for her city was lovely……it was a slow moving walking tour, so we were not able to do the whole route. A little too much emphasis on plants, etc.. It’s a very quaint seaside town, with only room for 1 cruise ship…..
