Not worth the time or money! This was a disappointment. Guide and bus driver explained more about the EXPECTED TIPS than the tour! We expected a fuller descriptions of the locations and more interesting historical anecdotes and connections. However, the tour guide provided uninteresting information. We made 4 stops and were given time to walk around but the tour guide stayed in or just by the door of the bus and didn't provide relevant historical or current details. We spent 20 minutes at a market without explanation. We stopped at one of the highest points of the city, and it would have been good if the guide indicated what we're looking at or positioned us to take pictures where we could see the town but instead we saw leaves since the bus parked where the plant growth was high. We were not allowed to walk further up where we could have seen the sight. At another stop, he pointed out a massive cathedral without much explanation. We passed 2 major universities but the guide didn't say anything about their histories or major accomplishments. Then the bus driver gave a long lecture again about tipping in Montreal. Anyone interested in a real tour of Montreal is better off going somewhere else. Don't waste your time and money with this tour.
Good overview of city. Not much time (if any) at each point of interest, but enough to give an idea of where to go back for a more in-depth visit.

Excellent tour, very knowledgeable about key places in Montreal! The tour stops at some places where you can take photos and stretch your legs. Yes, I recommend this tour!
I had booked a tour in advance that was called the Montreal sightseeing tour started at nine or at 1 o'clock when I get to the counter of the office. I wait to go on my tour but what they had given us as a hop on hop off bracelet and that is not what I booked I went back into the office and they told me it was the same Tours it seemed very confusing cause I hop on hop off is not what I want it. So the girl at the counter insisted it was the same thing we went on the tour and as they are explaining things as you go, we decided at stop number one we might get off because all the stops were numbered, but the tour guide said you gotta stay on the bus so I was confused. because they did not give us what we wanted and told us this was now a hop on hop off, but we couldn't get off.?? I felt the tour guide was very pushy and was more interested. I think at the end of the tour for the tip because if you get on and you get off if you stay to the end, he gets a tip which he kept mentioning 4 to 5 times on the tour. I have booked many trips with your company over the years to Toronto to Banff New York City I believe also was by viator but if this is the first time where I felt somebody very pushy on the bus and I was travelling with a young child. I was not happy with the service provided if you gave me the wrong tour from the beginning and then told me I had to hop off hop on ticket. Why could I not get off? Somebody needs to explain this to me or get in contact with me

Our host is very knowledgeable and at the same time funny so listening to him is not boring. I learned a lot from this tour about Montreal. It's also a treat that we went to the Farmer's market for food and othe stuff. The driver is also friendly and helpful.
I was born and raised in Montreal. I took my relatively new arrived in Quebec spouse and friends from Edmonton, Alberta who really enjoyed this very complete tour. We take quite a view city tours globally and were truly impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of our Tour Guide Francois and Driver Angelo. Keep up the excellent team work Guys!
