Nos gustaría aclarar algunos puntos para quienes lean esta reseña. En cuanto a la Gruta Azul, nuestra tripulación no decide ni controla los tiempos de espera. Cuando hay una espera estimada de hasta 3 horas, consideramos nuestro deber informar a los pasajeros y dejarles decidir libremente si desean dedicar gran parte del tour a esperar o continuar descubriendo la isla. No intentamos convencer a nadie de que renuncie a la visita; simplemente proporcionamos información real sobre la situación que encontramos ese día. Esperar tres horas habría significado, inevitablemente, renunciar a gran parte del resto de la experiencia. Tampoco podemos garantizar que regresar más tarde solucione el problema: la afluencia a la Gruta Azul puede mantenerse durante horas y las condiciones pueden cambiar rápidamente. Además, el acceso al interior de la Gruta Azul no depende de nuestra embarcación, sino de las pequeñas barcas autorizadas que realizan la entrada. Respecto a las paradas, entendemos perfectamente que la belleza o el interés de cada lugar sea subjetivo. Los Faraglioni, las grutas, las formaciones rocosas, las estatuas y los diferentes puntos de la costa forman parte del recorrido alrededor de Capri, pero naturalmente cada viajero puede apreciarlos de manera diferente. En cuanto al baño y al snorkeling, hablamos de baño y snorkeling en el mar alrededor de Capri, no de una excursión especializada de buceo en arrecifes. La cantidad y variedad de peces que se pueden observar es completamente natural y, obviamente, no puede ser garantizada por ningún operador. Las oportunidades de baño también dependen de las condiciones del mar, del tráfico marítimo, de la seguridad y del desarrollo del tour ese día. Si una segunda parada no puede realizarse en condiciones adecuadas, la seguridad de nuestros huéspedes siempre tiene prioridad sobre el cumplimiento mecánico de un itinerario. Sobre las grutas accesibles nadando, cuando nuestra tripulación recomienda no intentar llegar a un determinado punto salvo que se sea un buen nadador, lo hace exclusivamente por seguridad. Preferimos recibir una crítica por ser prudentes antes que poner a un pasajero en una situación potencialmente peligrosa. Nos alegra, por otra parte, que haya reconocido que las bebidas estuvieron disponibles en buena cantidad, y tomamos nota de su opinión sobre la comida. Finalmente, queremos aclarar algo importante: nuestro objetivo no es simplemente “marcar” cada punto de una lista, sino ofrecer una experiencia agradable y segura alrededor de Capri, adaptándonos a las condiciones reales del mar, el tráfico y la afluencia que encontramos ese día. Regarding the meeting point, Capri is one of the busiest ports in Italy during the season, which is precisely why detailed instructions and a photo request are used to help our crew identify guests quickly and avoid confusion. As for the Blue Grotto, it is one of Capri’s most famous attractions and waiting times are often substantial. Guests are always informed of the estimated queue and are free to decide whether they prefer to wait for entry or spend that time exploring other parts of the island. On your tour, the decision was made to visit the Blue Grotto despite the expected wait. It is therefore difficult to reconcile the criticism of the waiting time with the fact that access to the Blue Grotto was ultimately the option chosen on the day. Unfortunately, neither the queues nor the popularity of Capri's most iconic attraction are something any operator can control. The time spent there was therefore the direct consequence of that choice, not of any change to the advertised itinerary. I'm sorry you were disappointed, but I want to clarify a few things. The tour was cancelled and fully refunded due to unsafe weather conditions — waves of 1.5 to 2 meters and wind gusts reaching 55 km/h. We understand that you may be adventurous and willing to challenge nature, seeing risk as something negligible. However, we don't share that approach. For us, safety always comes first, and we won’t compromise on that. Our goal is to offer not just a trip, but a great experience, and in those conditions, we couldn’t guarantee either.
