クラシック音楽ツアー（コンサートとディナー付き）

This was our last evening in Prague before returning home. We met Martin at the Charles the 4th statue at the east end of the Charles Bridge, visited the adjacent St. Francis Of Assisi Church, and spent a couple of hours walking the streets of Old Town, focusing on the sites where Mozart and Beethoven had played, as well as other points of interest relating to music. We attended a concert at the Mirror Chapel in the Clementinum, a beautiful hall. The concert was classical music top 40, played in abridged versions for the longer pieces, by a chamber group, with the organ playing solo for a couple of pieces, and combing with the chamber group for one selection. The chamber group was very good, and the vocal soloist had an excellent voice. Their version of "Die Moldau" or "Vltava" from Má Vlast was rather jarring to anyone familiar with the piece (4 minutes vs. the usual 12), but, okay, musical completeness was not what this experience was about. We then went to dinner at a local restaurant favored by our host. The food was very tasty, typical Czech fare, with plenty of beer to wash it down. So from the sound of it so far, a nice, standard sort of tour. But it was more than that because of Martin, an enviably multilingual guy, who engaged us from the start, and our tour evolved into a cultural conversation of the most enjoyable sort. And at dinner, we were joined by his in-laws, Jim and Debbie, visiting from the States, and later by his wife, Kate, and dinner turned into a thoroughly convivial event. Being a tourist can be difficult at times due to not knowing the language or the cultural norms or how to get from point A to point B, but the mark of a place worth visiting is how welcome you feel when you're there. I don't believe, in all the traveling I have done, that I have ever felt more welcome. So thank you, Martin, for a most memorable tour!

Highly recommend this tour if you love music and delicious local cuisine. Our guide was charming and knowledgeable.

Martin is a wonderful local guide who took us to all the non touristy places with great history and gave us a very informative / interesting summary of all the places we visited. The concert in the mirrored chapel was superb and we ended the evening with a local Czech dinner with some traditional dishes. All said great fun and highly recommended!

This was a fantastic tour. The right amount of walking and exploring and we could suggest the pace. Martin gave us so many great suggestions to start our trip and introduced us to many local street foods and experiences along our tour. The concert was excellent and so was our meal. Perfect way to start our journey!

Martin was an excellent guide who tailored our experience to our preference. Since we had taken tour earlier in the day that included Old Town he took us to a place first for a beer and a snack. He then showed us an area beneath the bar that were rooms from 800AD. Fascinating. The concert was in an old church with excellent musicians who played well known music by Vivaldi, Mozart, Beethoven and others. Dinner was at one of his favorite restaurants with locals serving local favorites. Delicious. Great experience; great guide

Thanks to Martin for sharing the history of music icons connected to Prague. We almost felt like locals taking non crowded routes as we soaked up this beautiful city. The classical music concert was indeed a treat .

This small-group tour was exceptionally done by its creator, Martin. The balance of walking tour, the concert, and then the meal together was perfect. And a very good value as well. I highly recommend it.
