Our guide Victor had a genuinely impressive scientific background and shared fascinating knowledge about every fruit we encountered. He knew where it comes from, how it grows and gave useful recommondations on how to eat each fruit. You could tell this was someone who truly loves the subject. Beyond the expertise, the guide was always seeking out the freshest, best-quality versions of each fruit for us to try, and took real care with hygiene throughout the tour. It made the whole experience feel both professional and genuinely enjoyable. If you're visiting Bogotá, this fruit market tour is an absolute must. Highly recommended!

Victor was an incredible guide, and we learned so much about the fruits and the market itself. We tried such a wide variety of fruit and other foods like cheese bread and arepas. It was all so fresh and we got to learn about how they're eaten and where they're grown. Walked away with some new favourite fruit. It's 100% worth doing.

I had Victor for this tour and it was just me which was suprising but very nice. Victor was very accommodating the entire tour including showing the flowers before they packed up early. His knowledge of fruit was incredible and he always hand picked the best fruits to try. I'd highly recommend anyone else to take this tour if they really enjoy fruit and want a tour of the market as well as you walk by most stores before the tour finishes and you can return after. Felt so full after the tour as well so don't eat before hand.

Our family had such a wonderful time learning from Valentina about all the fruits at the Paloquemao market. Our kids, age 8 & 6, loved getting to taste bites of everything, and Valentina thought of everything. We sampled so many things: hot drinks, fruity juices, special arepas de choclo, the best pandebonos in the world (we’ve sampled many before and these were phenomenal), and a double rainbow of fruits. We also got to tour the neighboring flower market. There were convenient bathrooms within the market, and lots of shops for artisanal crafts if you have time to browse after the tour. Our tour took about 3.5 hours, and by the end, we were stuffed - no need for any lunch after. Highly recommend!

Don't leave Bogotá without having done this amazing tour! We had the best time discovering and tasting so many fruits, fresh snacks, beautiful flowers and of course coffee & cacao. It was just the three of us, so the tour felt extra special and adapted to us. If you want to fully enjoy the experience, do NOT eat breakfast beforehand! We're so glad to have done this. It was the highlight of our time in Bogotá!

Val was awesome. Super friendly, super knowledgeable. Listen to her when she says to skip breakfast. Never knew fruit could span the flavor spectrum from sweet, to savory, to sour. Can't recommend this tour enough. Val also does cocktail classes for larger groups and I hope to be at one of them someday. Book this tour ASAP!

The tour was great! It was thorough and really well paced. We tasted a variety of fruits along with a couple of beverages, pan de bono, and empanadas. Val was a great guide! She was able to explain everything well in great English and even gave us recommendations for later during our stay. We loved having done this tour prior to going to some local restaurants because we tried dishes with many of the new fruits that we tasted for the first time on this tour!

Wonderful experience touring the fruit market with Valentina. Walk through the floral sections of the market, she highlighted the rare species found only in Colombia. Tasted so many variety of fruits, enjoyed snacks and juices. She helped us get an DiDi ride back to hotel when our wifi failed to connect. Highly recommend Valentina's tour.
