We had a private hiking tour that deviated from the original Viator plan. I think this can be challenging for local tour companies that contract with Viator. That said, our guide Becca was amazing and we hiked Yellow Rock in Cottonwood Canyon by ourselves without seeing another hiker. This was a welcome change from our Zion base which is always crowded in summer. We also did some beautiful slot canyon hiking that was included in our day. Took two hours to drive to Kanab Utah for this hike. This was part of Grand Staircase Escalante.
