Wonderful experience from start to finish. My husband, a friend and I were taken by Ander to a family run winery which we would have never found on our own. The winery tour was informative and relaxed by the wonderful Monica with views of the coast and hillsides in the background. The Txakoli wine region and wine is unique and the tour is as much a cultural event as it is a wine tasting experience. Ander then took us to the medieval fortress town of Getaria with a lovely port and layers of history. Ander was an excellent guide who adjusted the tour to our interests and needs. I would say the main difference between this tour and others is the personalized nature and flexibility of the tour. In addition, this coastal area of the Basque region is absolutley breathtaking.

We had a such great day with Ander! He took us on a tour of Getaria with some additional stops along the way, and he had so much knowledge and recommendations about the Basque region and its culture, history, food, etc. The winery was beautiful and a great way to spend a day in the area. Would highly recommend!

We were all ready to be picked up in the lobby of our hotel, when 30 minutes before the tour, we get a text informing us the tour had been cancelled with no reason provided. I am a reasonable person, I can understand things come up last minute, but there was no attempt to find an alternative tour, keep the existing reservations for the winery, or any further action which could have compensated. Nevermind, providing a reason for the last minute cancellation. The handling of the situation was highly unprofessional.

Go Basque took 28 guests from my destination wedding on an amazing tour that included the Balenciaga Museum in Getaria and a Txakoli Winery. Go Basque created a flawless experience for our guests. Go Basque worked with me to customize our tour experience to include two wineries and a lunch stop. (Quite patiently too I'll add, since our group had quite a few variables to work through.) The tour day ended up being exactly what I'd hoped for and our tour guide, Ander, was great -- very personable and great at anticipating our needs.

I went to visit the Txomin Etxaniz Winery in Guetaria, it was an extraordinary experience. Everything was very well organized. The Txacoli is of excellent quality, along with different variants offered. The view of the property to the farm fields and the sea is amazing. This is a highly recommended walk.

Very impressed with such a high quality personalized service!!!. I am now only thinking about how to go back and experience such an excellent service as soon as possible!!

We had a great time with our guide, Ander. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the Basque country. The drive to the winery along the Atlantic coast was beautiful. The guide at the winery was one of the family owners and spoke at length about the history and wine making process. We tasted a few of their wines which were delicious. We had a lovely time!

The tour far surpassed our expectations. Ander was an excellent tour guide and you could tell he really had a passion to teach and show you how great San Sebastián and the Basque region is. We were picked up and driven to the txakoli winery where on the way we got some great pictures overlooking the winery and the ocean. At the winery we got a great tour of the winery and tasted some wines and pintxos. After the winery tour we walked around a small fishing village called Getaria, and stopped at a restaurant for a refreshment and some incredible pintxos selected by Ander. Afterwords we walked through the village for a bit more and checked out some monuments and a church. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this tour.

My husband and I had the best time with Ander and it was such a treat to visit one of our favorite wine regions in the entire world. The scenery was outstanding and it was perfect to have a true expert showing us all of his favorite places. A short drive from San Sebastian, it is so worth the time to visit Txokali and the neighboring village. We learned so much and so enjoyed our time. Such a fun day and we will be calling him again when we return!
