Sylvain was a wonderful guide. He was excited to share his knowledge about Montreal with the group, and participants responded well to his enthusiasm. He was especially knowledgeable about architecture and sculptures.
A highlight was visiting the Place D’Armes with him, and an entertaining story about 2 sculptures adjacent to the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Bank of Montreal.

Old Montreal 2 hour walking tour
GREAT tour and guide. Saw all the highlights and learned SO much about the history of Old Montreal in just 2 hours. Our guide was so knowledgeable and entertaining. Wonderful!

Amazing tour for your money

Excellent tour from every point of view
The group only included our family (4 adults) and we thus benefited from having the guide Emmanuel all to ourselves. Born in Montreal, he knows every detail, its history, its architecture, the recent evolution of Quebec, and has no trouble adapting perfectly to the profiles of vacationers and their interests. Also very good advice on the best sellers of bagels, poutines, or even on the city's underground network. He manages to highlight, through historical stories, the architecture, or the statues of the city, the complex Franco-British alchemy of Montreal.
Emmanuel is a true pro (he knows how to capture attention, makes sure to answer all questions while keeping an eye on the timing, chooses the best locations to avoid noisy areas, ...) and what's more, he is super nice.
Since we had booked this tour the day after we landed in Montreal, we were able to quickly pick up a few Quebec customs. It was great!

Excellent tour in every respect
The group only included our family (4 adults) and we thus had the guide Emmanuel all to ourselves. Worth paying the extra for a semi private tour
Very interesting, focused quite a bit on historic buildings and the origins of Montreal whereas a bit more explanation of some of the statues and current social trends, with suggestions of where else to visit afterwards would have made it perfect. Galyna is clearly very knowledgeable and is very friendly. It was also worth laying the extra for a semi private tour

Excellent tour and guide
Daniel was amazing. Knowledgeable, friendly, able to discuss many different topics from the questions of the small group, and gave us suggestions of what to do with the rest of our time in this city—-and our travel route to the next stop on our itinerary—and some great food recs. A great way to get to know a new city!
