Finding the boat was an absolute nightmare. The booking details from Viator did not include the name of the vessel, and the meeting instructions indicated "Entrance 13," which was completely wrong. After walking up and down the promenade for nearly an hour trying to locate the departure point, we finally discovered it was actually at entrance A06. To make matters worse, the local operator does not offer support via WhatsApp, Viber, or data-based messaging apps—only direct cellular calls, which is frustrating and costly for international travelers relying on data. When we finally managed to call, the representative refused to text the vessel's name and was difficult to understand over the phone (it sounded like "4-e-z" before we figured out it was Rheintreue / RheinPoesie). Accessing the boat required walking down a dangerously steep ramp (nearly 75 degrees), making boarding very challenging. Once on board, seating on the upper deck was insufficient. We were forced to head to the enclosed lower deck, only to discover the vessel had electrical problems: the lights were constantly flickering, and the air conditioning was completely broken, leaving the cabin stifling and uncomfortable. The lack of basic logistics, poor communication, and subpar maintenance made this a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend this tour.

Large vessel with indoor/outdoor seating.. Restaurant on board along with a bar. Nice way to see Dusseldorf from the Rhine.

Totally disappointing and overpriced! The audio guide can barely be heard, whether inside or outside! You don't learn anything and you don't see anything new either. Would not recommend to anyone! Total letdown

It was fun. But expected something more. For 20 euros I expected a little more. The boat is fine, neat and big. Only the boat sails for 30 minutes and it returns via the same route. So you see the same thing twice. It would be better if the boat could make a 1 hour or 1.5 hour lap, so you can see a bit more. And may sail a little faster.

Boring. Difficult defined. There was hardly any audio and when there was, you couldn’t hear it. It’s basically just a boat ride up and down a river andthat’s it. I would not recommend this trip.

Unfortunately did not drive to the Theodor Heuss Bridge as described. Not very advantageous for locals.

Excellent vessel, very well maintained, clean, functional, and with a climate-controlled area that is very helpful on very hot days; this is without losing any detail of the journey, thanks to the large windows that the vessel has. First-class waiter service, very attentive and quick, which is appreciated since the journey, although offered for 120 minutes, lasts only about 55 minutes. The truth is that there is not much to see on the journey, but I simply enjoyed the experience of sailing the river.

Anyone who walks a few hundred meters upstream and a few hundred meters downstream again - or rides a bicycle - sees just so much.

Not a lot of information to share and it doesn’t go down the river that far. People were talking a lot and it was hard to hear the commentary at times. I walked around to hear it better.
