デュッセルドルフ、ライン川でクリスマス・アフタヌーン・クルーズ

The cruise it's self was OK but not great was expecting to see these wonderful lights at night, pretty dull. The St Nicholas that was going around speaking to everyone, except if you were English. He stood in front of us, and said to his helper Phew, I don't speak Engilsh, obviously he said this in German. We were there early, the crew member told us to go to ticket office and they will meet us there. But a queue was forming, lucky two of the people we had with us spoke fluent German. Asked this crew member about the queue, to which he replied join that one and I will inform them about your tickets. When boarding, they just scanned my phone, no ticket needed. So if you don't speak German, you will be disadvantaged and ignored.

Super cool! Everything was taken care of top notch. Ve staff and tasty food. The singer was also very nice. We enjoyed it immensely.

Didn’t get in the boat, we arrived and were told there was no booking in our name even though I had an email confirmation and the money had been taken from my account. The ticket office basically told us there was nothing that can be done, and to contact viator as this is who we booked through. So far I have had an email advising they are looking in to what happened, I am demanding a refund.

Didn’t get ion the boat. Booked yesterday through a company called viator. Got to the ticket office at 3:15pm to be told our booking didn’t exist! The ticket office staff were not helpful at all, just said your not on the list! It was raining very hard, and right in front of the stand was a big puddle so you had to stand back to try and have a conversation , there was no empathy or anything from the staff. Was literally a case of the computer says no!! I asked if they could call viator and was told no, we had to contact them. Have tried to call, message and email, also contacted through Facebook and had no response! Shocking! And they have taken the €75 from my account though!! Avoid at all costs!!!

Without doubt, the one hour river cruise on a small patch of the Rhine in Dusseldorf has been the dullest and most pointless trip in all my years of travel ... and I've been around. I went with my wife on the afternoon of December 14th 2019 and it is an hour in our lives we'll never get back! Dull government buildings and a church on one side of the river and sheep grazing on grass on the other. A complete waste of our €22 (€11 each). We've both done the Westminster Bridge to Greenwich tour on the River Thames in London and Chao Phraya River tour in Bangkok and both have magnificent things to see. I would say that in comparing those two tours with that in Dusseldorf is like trying to compare a top of the range Lexus with a beat up Fiat 500! Avoid at all costs.

Booked & paid for 10 people at the kiosk but when we arrived to board the boat, the man who was taking the tickets was an absolute pig. We were not told to book a table for 10. He freaked out that he now had to find seats for a group of 10. Very grumpy! I tried to say that we didn’t have to all be seated together a bit he shouted at me to WAIT! As we left, he attached a group of young me who did not misbehave as we were sitting behind them. He actually called one of them an ‘Arschlo...’ The waiting staff inside the boat were lovely. It’s a nice trip apart from that!

The boat was very clean and the staff on board were very pleasant. The christmas decorations on board were excellent. Drinks and food were well priced. The only poor thing was being kept waiting to board in the rain until nearly 3.30, boarding was supposed to be from 3pm.

<p>Boat was beautiful and a lovely 2 hour cruise. The only problem we did not get free waffle or a free drink. Had to exchange pre paid voucher and when we asked on the boat they said they did not know anything about it. Also the live music is a man putting on music from a lap top. Disappointing not what we expected.</p>

<p>Was nice going along the river but it was not catered at all for tourists that do not speak fluent German or any at all</p>
