Very good tour to fascinating castle and amazing caves. Easy to book. Great guide and pick up from hotel. Good value for money and small group in a mini bus. Recommended.

It unfolded as described. You have at the same time a short description, and enough free time on your own to enjoy at your own rhythm.

We were absolutely blown away by both Predjama Castle and Postojna Cave. Predjama Castle is incredible — it is almost impossible to tell where the building ends and the mountain begins. The engineering and ingenuity are remarkable, and it is easy to understand how the castle was once considered nearly impregnable. Postojna Cave was equally impressive and such a unique experience. The scale, formations, and overall atmosphere were spectacular. We were so glad we chose to visit both. A huge part of what made the day so enjoyable was our guide, Žiga. He was warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly pleasant to spend the day with. He gave us so much background information about both the castle and cave beforehand that when we went through the actual tours, the history and details really clicked into place. On the drive back, Žiga also gave us restaurant and food recommendations and happily answered all of our questions about Slovenia — politics, economics, wine, culture, and everyday life. It felt like having a very knowledgeable local friend along for the day. We would highly recommend this tour and especially Žiga. Definitely a must-do if you are visiting Slovenia.

Both Predjama Castle and the Postojna Caves rightly belong to the top attractions in Slovenia. Predjama is built into the rock and from almost every level of the castle, the view of the rocks is possible. Incidentally, this is a complete house unit from the Middle Ages. The audio guide explains everything in detail. In Postojna, the walk is 1.75 km with really great stalactite formations and large stalactite halls. Our guide gave additional information during the bus ride, but was not present in the castle or cave.

One of the five most spectacularly stunningly beautiful places I have ever seen, and i have traveled a LOT. For me, it was unforgettable and I feel very lucky to have been there.

Take snacks with you as there is not a lot of time to sit and eat anything and the tour takes a while.

This was an exceptional experience. Our driver shared his knowledge of the region on the drive over. He delivered tickets and gave us instructions for getting into the castle and cave, both of which were worth the visit. Highly recommend!!

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and shared many interesting facts about the tour destinations and Slovenia in general. He was courteous and friendly. The castle was a fine example of a medieval castle. The final caves were spectacular and a must-see attraction.

It was a very well organised tour, made so much easier by having tickets for us and no queuing . Luka, the guide, was full of great stories and information. He made the trip feel shorter and part of the entertainment. Both the caves and castle were exactly as advertised - spectacular and well worth the half day trip.

Luka was absolutely phenomenal! His passion for Slovenia, the caves, and the castle really came through throughout the entire tour. He was knowledgeable, engaging, funny, and kept us entertained from beginning to end. He didn’t just give us information, he made the history interesting and brought everything to life. He kept the day fun, answered questions, and made sure everyone was enjoying themselves. The caves and castle were incredible on their own, but having Luka as our guide made the experience that much better. I would highly recommend this tour, and especially Luka as a guide!
