The 5 hour snowmobile tour in Lapland is legit! I didn’t just want to go around a track, I wanted to be out in the countryside in the trees. There are some good slow sections in the beginning to get the hang of driving, and some open meadows across snow covered swamps to get a little speed up, ~45 km/h. Just know that you need to be physically strong. You’re not driving a car and relaxing - the road is rough, so hang on tight, hoping you don’t go off trail and tip over! It was like riding an ATV quad bike. Loved it!
From start to finish our snowmobile tour guide Arena ( apologies if spelt wrong 🙈 ) was fantastic. He helped and guided us every step of the way. We stopped a few times for photos and lunch, ( my husband loved Arenas soup , which he made in front of us ) An awesome day out Thankyou very much Arena ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The snowmobile day safari was an experience in itself. We had Alexei as a guide and we really had a very good, nice guide. He was skilled in explaining the snowmobile and guided the trip with a lot of professionalism. He also gave interesting information about the area and how people live there in a very enjoyable way. He took good care of us during the day trip, paid attention to whether anyone had upcoming frostbite, paused in beautiful places, inquired if it was going well, if there were any questions, made a warm fire during the break and then a delicious reindeer meat soup 🤩. A trip with a golden lining! Oh, and it's very cold on the back.
Snowmobiling + fishing on the frozen lake + traditional lunch by the fire in a cabin lost in the forest. Our guides Emil and Yukka are very pro and very friendly, attentive to everything going well during this activity which lasted more than 6h by -25 degrees! The special outfits provided by the team and the fire of lunch allowed us to fully enjoy this beautiful outing. To do absolutely...even under - 25 degrees!😉
We did the 6h tour with snowmobiles. Pablo was a great guide and cook. I recommend the tour if you want to spend the day with snowmobiles (about 75 km). The food was great too, as we prepared typical soup with reindeer meat (very good) and sausages.
The tour with Pablo was great. We are really thankful to him for showing us the forests of Rovaniemi. We also want to praise the chef! The soup was amazing! But we have to take away one point because he didn’t give us the recipe 🤣
This was one the nest experiences we have had. Martin was an excellent guide, fabulous lunch, and the views were spectacular. Safartica does a fabulous job with gear, safety and organization.
Magical excursion with Valentina and Pablo! The scenery was absolutely beautiful and the lunch break in a fabulous location. The soup was delicious, prepared on site by our super guides who were able to please the whole group by taking us on paths where we felt alone in the world. Thanks again for this moment, it was worth it!
The landscapes are magical, with a snow forest or stretches of snow as far as the eye can see! Break ice fishing in the middle of a frozen river, then head to the snow-covered forest to enjoy soup, prepare directly on site barbecue, as well as grilled chamallows! Little more: we were only 2 snowmobiles in the group, compared to other very large groups we met!! Thanks to Robert, our great guide, who speaks very good French and who made us videos and photos!
Among the many possible experiences in that of ruins this can be considered among the unforgettable. Immersed in nature driving a snowmobile, covering dozens of km in snowy landscapes, through forests and with spectacular reflections of sunlight filtering through the plants. The guide, in English, which explains in great detail the particular uses and customs of the Sami population and the animals that can be encountered in this breathtaking landscape. The tour, interspersed with short stops for any changes to the driving of the vehicle, stops at a cabin in the middle of the forest, where the guide cooks a lunch based on food and hot drinks. Highly recommended for those who love nature
