What an REMARKABLE. Experience, My 12 year old son and I not only got to see the bio luminescence, but saw Flying fish, glowing jelly fish and a manatee. Sam the tour guide was so knowledgeable and very patient with all my Son’s 1,000 questions. I highly recommend this tour and SAM the tour guide!!

We had a great experience on the water last night with Sam. We booked a 22:00 slot, but we arrived at 21:00 to make sure we could find it and Sam was there already so we went out early, which was a bonus as it allowed us to head home earlier. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and a fab tour guide. We spent 1.5hrs kayaking around to different areas to see the bioluminescence which was such a strange phenomena, but so beautiful. It was very peaceful on the water and we were able to hold a comb jelly, which glowed blue and there were lots of them. The location was easy to find, but I would recommend checking Google Streetview before heading out, so you know exactly where you need to turn onto the dirt track. The website did allow us to book single kayaks, but Sam explained that this wasn’t possible due to the trailer they use and they are unable to change the website. It also said that a restroom was available, but I didn’t see one. Just something to be mindful of. Sam did provide bottles of water, which was a nice touch as it was warm out on the water. Overall an excellent experience which I would highly recommended doing if you’re visiting Florida. It’s only a 1 hour drive from Orlando.

We did the Sunset & Bioluminescent tour with Riley. She was a great guide, we saw dolphins and the bioluminescence was amazing!

Riley is knowledgeable and bubbly and shares her passion for her job with you. She created the most magical night for us that will be easily remembered for years to come.

Magical! Just magical! You really have to be there, its impossible to explain. So cool to feel/see the water become alive. I do wish we got to stay a little later, as soon as it started getting dark we had to paddle in, so we really only got to see the magic for a very short time. i would do it again though Note: BRING BUG SPRAY OR LONG SLEEVE CLOTHING. The mosquitos are viscous when you get back on land after the tour.

We enjoyed our tour guide & the time but did not get to see Bioluminescence as it was too early in the season.

Astrid was an excellent guide. This experience was a remarkable observation of nature. Well worth the price for me and my 8 year old. I was nervous about being in the water at night but it was so peaceful and I felt safe. My son had a blast swimming in the amazing phenomenon. 4 in our party and we had a great time.

This was an amazing adventure! Venture Outdoors is simply the best kayak excursion operator in central Florida. This was our second experience with Astrid and her team and it was so much fun. There were people on the tour with little or no previous kayak experience as well as some families with children. Everyone was able to keep up and enjoy a great night on the water. The bioluminescence was beautiful and we had the opportunity to put in on a small island and play in the water and make glowing bioluminescence angels. I recommend this for anyone looking for a unique and fun experience. Astrid puts safety at the forefront and it was so peaceful being on the water at night. She truly loves sharing her passion for kayaking along with her knowledge of the environment. Five star experience all the way!

Our family had a fantastic time on this tour. Our guide, Astrid, was exceptional—engaging, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what she does. She placed a strong emphasis on safety, which we really appreciated, especially with two kids (ages 10 and 13) in tow. Astrid took the time to answer all of our questions and made sure everyone was having fun throughout the experience. The bioluminescence was absolutely magical—an unforgettable highlight of our trip that we’ll cherish for years to come!

The trip was amazing! very cool to see what’s right here in Florida! Astrid and Louie guided us and shared cool facts about the bioluminescence! Several dolphins and the kids loved the sparkle!
