This was my second tour with Dima, and it was another absolutely wonderful experience! The drive from Salt Lake City to the salt flats is relatively long—about an hour and a half—but Dima completely transformed the journey. He filled the ride with so many interesting facts and stories about Utah and Salt Lake City, making the travel time fly by and feel genuinely enjoyable. What really sets this specific excursion apart is that it’s the only salt flat tour that includes a visit to the Silver Island Mountain Trail, which was a fantastic addition. The view was amazing. We were also incredibly lucky with our timing, as we visited right after it rained and were treated to the most stunning, mirror-like reflections on the flats. Dima was extremely helpful and took so many wonderful photos of us to capture the incredible scenery. It is particularly helpful as I was travelling solo. I also have to highlight how considerate Dima is. I was staying at a hotel outside of downtown, and instead of making me commute into the city early in the morning, he generously offered to pick me up directly from my hotel. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. I will absolutely be booking with Dima again!

Great excursion! There is a small hike included so be sure to wear appropriate footwear. Our guide had plenty of snacks and water and was great.

The tour was great and beautiful. Dima, the tour guide, explained everything clearly and had some nice facts. He really helped us connect to each other as a group and that was a nice experience.

What a beautiful experience! The drive is about 2 hours one way with interesting scenery the entire way. Our guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Wear good shoes to accommodate the short hike to the top of the mountain. The view from above is fantastic. We took charcuterie to munch on. Dima even stopped to let us look at the Milky Way on the way back. It’s a long tour, but well worth the drive.

(From North Carolina on a business trip) HANDS DOWN the best tour/guide I’ve ever had. And I’ve done a lot of tours, all over the world. Dyma is wonderful and so passionate about what he does that you can’t help but to love him and be just as interested! Ask him anything, he knows the answer and enjoys educating his guests! He is not an employee, this is his company and his passion. He has a good relationship with those who run the nature centers and will do whatever it takes to provide a once in a lifetime experience. Not to mention he became our photographer and got fantastic pictures, balancing on a rock to get the best angles. It is well worth the money AND staying an extra day just for the tour. I did antelope island and Salt flats tour, both at sunset. And honestly would return just to do the others. Thank you Dyma!!

I had a great time on the Bonneville Salt Flats Journey! It was an amazing experience from beginning to end. We had the opportunity to collect salt from the flats as souvenirs, climb up the mountain for breathtaking views of the salt flats and surrounding mountains, and enjoy a beautiful sunset while walking across the salt flats. Dima, our tour guide, was incredibly accommodating and made the experience even more enjoyable. He helped us collect salt, assisted us with getting the sand and salt off our shoes, and thoughtfully offered us water and snacks throughout the tour. He was attentive to everyone and made sure we were comfortable and having a good time. Dima’s knowledge of the locations and their history was fascinating. He shared interesting stories about the Bonneville Salt Flats, the surrounding mountains, and the history of Salt Lake City, which made the tour both fun and educational. Overall, I had an amazing time and would highly recommend this tour. The beautiful scenery, fascinating history, and Dima’s hospitality made it an unforgettable experience!

As other reviews have said, Dima the tour guide was very congenial. The itinerary allowed well spaced breaks and we saw everything as described in the booking information. Everyone on board seemed to enjoy the trip. The hike was a little challenging, but the views were worth the effort.
