They're the ones where someone who knows the country says, “Trust me, you'll love this.” That was our experience on our one-day trip to Amman, Jerash, and Ajloun with Tour Experts — and a huge part of the reason was our driver, Anas. From the moment we met Anas, the day felt easy. He was friendly, professional, punctual, and incredibly welcoming. But what really stood out was how much he cared about making sure we experienced Jordan rather than simply completing an itinerary. We explored Amman, enjoying the contrast between the modern city and its incredible layers of history. Then we headed toward Jerash, and seeing the ancient Roman city in person was absolutely impressive. Walking among the enormous columns, streets, arches, and ruins gives you a completely different appreciation for how much history is here. After Jerash, we continued to Ajloun, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and a completely different atmosphere from the capital. But one of the biggest surprises of the day happened when Anas took us to a local restaurant he recommended. We trusted him. And we're extremely glad we did. The food was honestly some of the best we tried during our entire time in Jordan. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. It was exactly the kind of meal you hope to discover while traveling — not just somewhere to eat, but somewhere that feels connected to the place you're visiting. We probably would never have found it on our own. That is what made Anas such a great part of the experience. He didn't just drive us between the famous places. He helped us discover the Jordan that isn't always written in the guidebooks. The little recommendations, the conversations, the local insight, and the willingness to make the day feel personal made a huge difference. We never felt rushed or treated like we were simply following a schedule. Anas was patient, helpful, and always made sure we were comfortable. By the end of the day, we had seen incredible history, beautiful landscapes, enjoyed a fantastic meal, and learned things about Jordan that we wouldn't have discovered by ourselves. And honestly, that restaurant alone deserves a special mention! We came for the sightseeing and ended up talking about the food all the way back. That's how you know it was good. A great driver makes you want to keep exploring. Anas was definitely the second. Amman gave us the city. Jerash gave us the history. Ajloun gave us the scenery. And Anas gave us one of the best meals of our trip! If you're visiting Jordan, we highly recommend experiencing these places with someone who knows more than just the roads. This tour is excellent and don't waste your time, you can visit Amman, Jerash and Ajloun together, witch we couldn't find in any other agency So instead of wasting time to visit Amman only then another day visit Jerash and Ajloun, you can do it all in the same day, and it's so good Our driver Zaki was excellent and did a great job
