Our day exploring Jerash, Ajloun, and Umm Qais was one of those experiences that keeps getting better with every stop. We started in Jerash, and the moment we entered the ancient city, we felt like we had stepped into another era. The enormous columns, old streets, theaters, and incredible Roman architecture were absolutely fascinating. It's one thing to read about ancient history, but standing in the middle of it is something completely different. From there, we headed into the beautiful landscapes of Ajloun. The change of scenery was incredible — greener, quieter, and surrounded by rolling hills. Visiting Ajloun Castle added another layer of history to the day, and the views from the top were simply beautiful. Then came Umm Qais, which was the perfect final stop. The ancient ruins are impressive, but what really makes Umm Qais special is the setting. The views stretching across the surrounding countryside and toward the distant landscape are absolutely breathtaking. What made this day so memorable was the journey itself. In just one day, we experienced ancient Roman history, medieval Jordan, beautiful countryside, dramatic views, and some of the country's most fascinating archaeological sites. Each place had a completely different atmosphere, and that's what made the day so special. If you're looking for a day away from the usual tourist route and want to discover a lesser-known but incredibly beautiful side of Jordan, this trip is absolutely worth it. Jerash amazed us. Ajloun surprised us. Umm Qais took our breath away. One day, three extraordinary places, and memories we'll never forget.
