We three friends, without prior painting experience and very little confidence, emerged after a couple of hours each holding a lovely silk painting. Prior to our visit Avigael had sent a link to a large selection of designs, and we each chose something different; she also advised us about levels of difficulty. Avigael demonstrated the technique of painting on silk and was encouraging and helpful. However, bear in mind that the workshop takes place in Avigael's home rather than a professional studio, and with some steps to climb to reach the flat. There is also a shortage of parking spaces in the area. Due to poor lighting over the table, we had some difficulty finding the outlines we were meant to follow, and we think this should be improved. All in all this is an original and creative way for a small number of friends or family to spend time together.

We had such a great time! Avigail was very patient and clear and it was so relaxing! It was really fun to learn a new art medium.

A fantastic, charming and exciting experience. I received Abigail's silk painting workshop as a birthday present from my son and his girlfriend. Abigail hosted us with lots of warmth and love. Her guidance and explanations were professional and welcoming. We felt like we were creating real art. We left with stunning paintings ... amazing to see our works. Thank you.

Avigael was great - my kids had a wonderful time silk painting - they each picked their designs in advance and then about about 1.5-2 hours painting together. I would highly recommend if you are looking for something different to do while in Jerusalem. It was nice that everyone left with their own project.
