Shadi is a well informed, cheerful and reliable guide who took us on an amazing 8 hour adventure hike around Petra. We saw the Treasury from a high vantage point, saw many fantastic rock formations as well as seeing the main sites. We had lots of tea stops which were required on our 10 mile walk and Shadi was very patient and polite as we took dozens of photos.

This was our highlight of our trip to Jordan. Shadi was a fantastic guide and person, and we really appreciated the entire experience. It was an extremely personalized day, where he showed us the beauty of Petra, introduced us to the culture and the kindest local people, and also took some great photos of our experience. If you are reading this review, I would tell you to stop looking and book Shadi as your guide.

Excellent tour and great guide. Felt like an intimate trip rather than a total tourist. Shadi was warm friendly and extremely knowledgeable.

Sami was one of the best guides we have ever had, he was extremely knowledge about Petra, the history and could even answer the random questions I might have asked. If we had more time we would have visited 3 days in a row and had Sami guide us with his passion for the area!

Shadi did a great job at guiding us through Petra, he took us to through some less crowded roads and made it fun. He is very knowledgeable about the historical site and willing to answer all of our questions about life in Wadi Musa. Highly recommend him.

What an experience! Walk to it is about 2 km. By the Siq. Then suddenly the Treasury looms. Lovely! Huge rocks, various colors. Brilliant. Continue through t path to the various Kings Tombs and t Monastery. 1.5 uut in the sun, fairly style climbing up. Over rocks, donkeys pass by. But the view on the way! Oh, great. The Monastery also beautiful! So worth it. 1 vd 7 wonders of the world!!

Shadi was fantastic! We learned so much and experienced more than expected Shadi took care of every detail, allowing us to enjoy every moment in Petra, his knowledge of history is incredible, he took us to the best spots the tour exceeded our expectations, thank you Shadi you will be our first call once traveling to Jordan!

With Shadi we had a perfect day in Petra. He is such a nice and authentic guide, he showed us the cultural and natural highlights of this impressive and overwhelming city. We had quiet, funny and always interesting moments, Shadi gave us Petra vibes. He told us many interesting facts about history, nature and local traditions and took us to the best spots for relaxing and taking photos.

Shadi is awesome, He was so knowledgeable, kind, patient, and trustworthy. He taught us about Petra and the tectonic plates that created the landscape. He told us what to expect from the local markets, and even shared how much he’d pay for certain items. I specifically remember how he treated us to a small cup of tea above the Roman theatre. I will forever remember the moment that my older brother and my 78-year-old dad shared fresh squeezed orange juice and tea with a Bedouin woman. Through translation, she shared some of her life with us and my dad shared pictures of his grandchildren. I will never forget that moment. It wouldn’t have been possible without the kindness and truth of Shadi. I hope to come back some day. Hopefully Shadi will still be there.
