Luke was our guide for both the cave tour and the "in character" guide for the gangster tour and he did an amazing job. We learned a lot, and had fun at the same time. The cave tour isn't your standard cave tour. If you are looking for crystals or stalagmites/stalactites then you will be pleasantly surprised that you will not see either. The history of why there is a cave and what all happened within the cave was amazing and very worth doing this tour. Luke then was our in-character guide for the gangster tour. The history of crime in St Paul was interesting and unexpected. The media has portrayed the Prohibition era crime as being in Chicago and New York, but I've never heard of St. Paul as being a hub for organized crime. I would recommend both tours equally. The cave tour is a little bit shorter than the gangster tour, so if you don't have time to do both you can do one or the other if you're in the area but doing both I think is worth it Also, for those that are interested, there is plenty of parking there so you don't necessarily have to Uber

We had a great time on the cave and gangster tours! A lot of interesting facts are presented. The cave rooms are maintained as they were when used as speakeasies and clubs at the time of prohibition or following prohibition. I did think the cave tour would be more of a walking tour exploring the caves, but that was minimal, however. Our guide on the Gangster tour had an amazing amount of gangster history and details of St Paul and the prohibition Era. I recommend the tours to anyone living or visiting the St Paul area!

The Cave tour and the guide were absolutely fabulous. Enjoyable in every way. The gangster tour on the bus had us on a beautiful air condition bus with a restroom. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and interesting. However, we feel the tour would have been much better had it been one hour long instead of two and the script for the guide reduced to fit in that amount of time. It was too much information and too long a time with not that many sites to see. It could be condensed into one hour, and it would be an exceptionally wonderful tour where we would want to bring friends back. Based on the fact that it was two hours, we would hesitate to bring friends on the bus tour. We would certainly bring them for the cave tour.

I had no idea that St Paul was a safe haven for gangsters back in the day. This tour has lots of stories of their lives and things that happened to different gangsters. You also get to see a lot of St Paul which was a nice bonus. Our guide on the bus was very informative and knew the history and city very well. Our guide at the caves did a great job as well. Wasn't really sure what to expect with the caves, but was interesting to hear about things that happened there and the businesses that have used the caves over the years. The acoustics in the caves is impressive. If you want to hear stories of gangster life (and corrupt cops) in St Paul, this is the tour for you.

Was a Great Time! Mary our cave tour guide was Amazing, Fun and Informative!! Our Bus tour guide Louise was equally as fun and informative. We really enjoyed all the sights and history of the Gangsters of St Paul.

It was fun, interesting and informative, but could have been maybe 30 minutes shorter. Our guide, Ryan, was fun and so passionate about what he does. He made our experience even better!

Also the St. Paul Gangster Bus Tour is a total gem. The two-hour ride takes you through the city’s Prohibition-era past, with stops (or drive-bys) at infamous gangster hideouts and hotspots. Our guide—dressed the part—was both hilarious and incredibly knowledgeable, bringing characters like John Dillinger and Ma Barker to life with flair. The bus was comfy, the stories were juicy, and the whole experience felt like stepping into a 1930s crime drama. Highly recommend for adults and teens who enjoy a mix of education and entertainment Highly recommend for anyone who loves a good story and a little intrigue with their sightseeing.

Fun way to learn about the history of the city of St. Paul. Enjoyable for kids and adults. Narrators make it fun and interesting.

First the Wabasha Cave Tour was fascinating. Luke our guide was so upbeat and funny which made the tour very exciting and interesting. Hearing the stories, seeing old photos and absorbing the history was truly enlightening. After this historic tour, we then boarded an air conditioned bus where our tour guide Brent was dressed and played the role of gangster Dillinger. He was also very upbeat, comedian like, knowledgeable and into his role. My only complaint was the weather was very cold and when we stopped and disembarked it was too cold to stand around and take pictures. The tour was interesting but long and I had hoped to stop at various spots to take pictures but in the end was glad because of the cold weather. I hope future gangster tours will incorporate a couple of off and on stops for picture taking. I would recommend this tour for history buffs and crime enthusiasts.
