A good halfday doing Moorea with beautiful views, vanilla factory, tasting of pineapple with various alcoholic combos, and not least a knowledgeable guide that told us a lot about the culture and history of Moorea.

It was an incredible experience done by a local that knew a lot about their culture, traditions, and also the best spots . For all of you that say “ I only book with the cruise ship because they warranty you their return on time “ let me tell you that he was super careful about the time . We used Viator through the whole Pacific and had an incredible experience and we were never late . At the end of this tour we saw a lot more than other people that used NCL excursions. The view on top of that mountain was the best I have ever seen !

Great tour with an amazing guide who takes you into the world of Moorea. It was really very comprehensive, both visually and in what we learned. A very beautiful experience that we recommend.

Great tour! We saw so much in 4-5 hours yet we did not feel rushed at all! Our tour guide was so funny and we learned a lot. He easily handled communicating with both the English speakers and the French speakers. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour!

This tour was a great way to see the island and talk to the local guide. I wore tennis shoes and thank goodness I did the hike to the top of magic mountain was a little steep but the tour guide takes you most of the way then it’s just a short hike to the top.

Mo’orea is scenically wonderful, and this tour, although not taking in the entire island, visits its most iconic spots. Pickup at the port was efficient, despite some minor confusion over the date, with Viator sending out incorrect, automated messages. But the actual operator was easy to communicate with by mail and responded promptly. The tour took us to three scenic viewpoints, the first overlooking the lagoon and across to Tahiti, the second, on a bumpy dirt road to the top of Magic Mountain with its 360 degree panorama, and the last to the spectacular Belvedere. We visited the fruit farm at the foot of Magic Mountain where we were offered a tasting of its fresh produce and superb jams. The tour also took us to the beautiful Protestant temple at Papeto’ai and to the Rotui juice factory, where we enjoyed a tasting of its flavoured liqueurs (mostly too sweet for me – I would have much preferred the dry pineapple wine) as well as past several resorts, public beaches and the pineapple plantation. The only thing missing was a picnic stop, although this would have extended it to almost a full day tour. On balance, safe, relaxed, informative and excellent value for experiencing one of French Polynesia’s most accessible gems.
