Booked the ride on 18.12. For the 19.12 at 5:30pm. When we stood on the evening of the ride from Piere a price of 480czk was shown. (Equivalent to 20€) Online the price that night was 27€. We paid for 4 people 154,32€. Where these price fluctuations come from I can understand. Sounds like a rip-off to me

Some lovely views can be seen at sunset with a hot drink and festive biscuits, quiet carols were played in background. Hot chocolate was tasty. However I was expecting a little more to this in its execution. We felt there needed to be some interaction/commentary for guests such as providing some information about the sights we were passing or maybe as it was marketed as an advent cruise sharing a bit about the festive traditions of the people of Prague could have been another angle. I think even in absence of these suggestions a little bit of orientation commentary welcoming guests to the boat before embarking reminding them how long the trip is, highlighting where the toilets were, who the staff were etc is necessary. Despite there being sizeable adults in our party we couldn’t see a lot sat on chairs on lower deck where we were told to sit because of the particular wristbands we had- our eye line was beneath the window and you didn’t want to keep getting up to block others view. Windows also could have done with a bit of a clean as watermarks/dust etc obscured what we were able to see from our sitting position. Really it would have been nice to have been able to have the option to choose to be sat on an upper deck or outside should we had wanted to.

The views of Prague were very nice. The sweets and hot drinks were not very impressive. The place was a little difficult to find given that it leaves from behind a permanent boat.

A nice thing to do in Advent. Hot wine good and there were little biscuits on paper plates - we were ushered downstairs which was cosy. No commentary, just carols. We didn't travel far, and went up/down the river, but it was nice. Was good to sit down for an hour as we'd done 27,000 steps that day!
