Bruges is a beautiful medieval town. The day trip was great, but long. Our only regret was not staying overnight. Our guide on the bus and locally were born excellent and knowledgeable.

"I went alone, my experience was really bad and I do not recommend it. I speak Spanish and they put me in the English group, they left me alone in the city of Bruges because there was no availability in Spanish, so I paid for the tour and they left me wandering alone since I couldn't stay with the Spanish group to do the walking tour. They gave me neither an explanation nor a solution. I do not recommend it and I won't be back." Fui sola, mi experiencia súper mala y no lo recomiendo. Hablo español y me pusieron en el grupo de inglés me dejaron sola en la ciudad de brujas porque no había cupo en español así que abone la excursión y me dejaron recorriendo sola ya que no podía quedarme con el grupo en español para hacer el tour caminando . It is a long day and a long time in a bus but the bus was very comfortable and our hosts very knowledgeable. Travel time flew by! Bruges is unique and beautiful!

Lovely place and day! Our English speaking guide was insensitive and outright nelectful of those in her designated group. Edwardo was most pleasant and patient.

I was 10 mins late because 2 Ubers cancelled on me. I tried to contact the tour operator called multiple times via whatsup emailed. No one responded they left without me and refused to give me a refund they suggested another tour which was half the price and was very touristy, a tour of the countryside. Being late is my fault but I should have been able to contact a tour operator or someone from the tour which was impossible. I lost money and vacation time.

My son and I took this tour. Unfortunately, it was not so great. We were really packed into a bus. We were in the back of the bus and there was no air conditioning. It was so hot that both my son and I were sweating for the entire 3 hour bus ride. Once there, we were divided into two groups based on what language the tour would be conducted. While our tour guide was very nice and seemed knowledgeable, she spoke very softly, she never stopped walking so you could only hear her if you were walking right next to her and even after we told her we couldn't hear her, she didn't do anything different. She also was very hard to understand. The city was amazing and beautiful and I am so glad I had the chance to see it, but next time, I would skip the tour. The bud ride back was a little better because the guide changed out seats and it was slightly cooler in our new seats.

Camaleon had a tour going on Saturday September 5th, which fit our plans. We had some difficulty locating the pickup site in Amsterdam, since Apple maps led us to an address that was behind the actual pickup site. "151" painted on a plywould panel with arrows was not helpful. It was only a passing couple (who had had the same experience) who alerted us to the actual location that got us there. Even then, I think better signage (maybe vendor/destination signs on poles or something like that) would have been helpful. But all-in-all we managed to find our bus, and our leader, Pau (not the tour leader, though, that was Pascal). Pau advised us on the way down about things like the drop off and pickup site (a park just outside Brugge), and when to be back (two people actually missed the return trip!). Pascal's tour was entertaining and informative. And he sent some additional information on retaurants and shops. We had been advised by friends and relatives that we should plan to stay in Brugge overnight, but our plans for Amsterdam were already set, so this was the best we could do. All-in-all, it was worth our time to make the trip, although if you're reading this, do consider an overnight stay!

We really enjoyed our trip to Bruges! The host/bus were very prompt and efficiently got us there and back. We definitely wish we had more time in Bruges, Id prefer that they adjust the timing of the day (for example start a little earlier and stay a little later) to provide another hour but I understand its tricky with the time required to travel there and back in a day. Also note that they dont allow eating or drinking on the bus so plan accordingly so you arent hungry/thirsty on the drive. For our trip it was mostly spanish speakers and we were separated off to a different guide at Bruges. Our guide Max was very knowledgeable and gave us a great tour of the city. He showed us the highlights and efficiently took us through the city. We appreciated that the efficient tour because we are our own exploring that we wanted to do. We really enjoy the tour of the tower (recommend you book ahead of time), the hospital museum and you have to try a waffle and chocolates while you're there.
