Tina was absolutely delightful and very knowledgeable about history and culture. It was a thoroughly enjoyable tour.

We had a great walking tour of Ghent with Tina! She did an excellent job taking us around the historical area and provided lots of facts, stories and cultural insights along the way. We only had a day to spend in Ghent and she helped us plan how to spend the rest of our day based on what we wanted to learn more about and see. We appreciated the small size our tour (just the two of us) and the personalized experience!

The guide was not local and seemed to have limited knowledge of the area. Took us on a nice walk around the city centre. We have done a number of these city walking tours and this one was the weakest.

An informative guide Tina showed us around the city centre at our pace. However the tour company need to get their act together, with respect to communications. Specifically the meeting point. Being in Gent during the festival we chose to do the tour early morning before the crowds arrive. After walking in circles for 15 minutes we found our guide a block away.

Tina was very knowledgeable about Ghent! I highly recommend this tour!

I'd give this zero stars if I could. At 9:51 on the scheduled date of the walk - which was to begin 9 minutes later at 10:00 - I received a Whatsapp text asking if I would be ok with changing the start time to 12:30. My husband and I had a commitment back in Brussels at 2:30, so the later start time wasn't a workable option for us. The sender said they were "sorry to hear that" and then, at 9:54, cancelled the walk. Never mind that we'd spent money on train and tram tickets to travel to Ghent specifically for the walk. Yes, the charge for the tour is in the process of being refunded. But unless the guide had some sort of an 11th hour emergency, there's no excuse for cancelling at literally the last minute. Suggest considering other providers that offer Ghent guided walks.

The tour was casual, informative, and rightly-paced. Mila was knowledgeable, friendly, and took ours (and hers) interest into consideration when talking about the beer culture of Belgium!
