Great class and I learned a lot!

It was a great learning experience. I had very little embroidery knowledge or spoke Spanish. We used a translation app with no problem. Learned history and culture as well. Left with all the supplies to finish my project at home.

Had a wonderful time with Maya learning this style of Otomi embroidery. She's an excellent instructor and a delight to chat with. I highly recommend

This class was so much fun! She had all of the preparations ready for you and made you feel so welcomed! She was able to show more advanced techniques and still explain it on a basic level. I would highly recommend taking this class for a relaxing time of learning!

I really enjoyed the class and learning a traditional Mexican embroidery stitch which was new to me.

Our family of 4 (my husband and I and 9 and 12 year old children) loved this class. Myra was a great teacher. She teaches in Spanish and uses an app to translate to audio English. We all found it interesting, relaxing. Three out of the four of us had not embroidered before, but Myra made sure that everyone was successful. All of us would recommend it to friends visiting Merida.

I had a really great time with Mayra. The location was easy to find, comfortable, and the instructions were easy to follow. I appreciated the history on the style and examples provided of the traditional otomi embroidery. Mayra also showed me examples of how to incorporate the style into other types of embroidery projects. I can't wait to use this in more crafts moving forward!
