Such a wonderful experience!! Our captain and crew were very knowledgeable and nice!! Very informative about the Galapagos sharks we were diving with. 10/10 would definitely book again. We went at 7:00 am and I recommend doing this early in the morning when it isn’t too hot out yet and the sun isn’t too strong, plus you still have the entire day when you’re done diving with the sharks. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience !!!
Such a neat experience from start to finish our boat crew was absolutely amazing super funny and very knowledgeable and informative. If you are prone to getting seasick, take some Dramamine beforehand!

Very frustrating experience with Shark Adventures. There was some confusion about the check-in time, but our tour was scheduled for 8:30 AM and we were at the destination at 8:30 AM. We even called the lady at the check-in shack to let her know we were there and ready to board. The GPS address in the itinerary took us to a different location a few minutes away, so we ended up checking in around 8:35 AM. We were told the boat had already left. The frustrating part is that we were driving in at 8:30 AM and did not see the boat at the port. I understand we were supposed to arrive 30 minutes early, but the itinerary made the timing look like an 8:30–10:00 AM window, which was confusing. We were there at the actual tour time, ready to board, and didn't need to use the restroom or do anything else that would have delayed us. They rescheduled us for the 11:30 AM tour and charged us a $90 rescheduling fee. We had driven almost an hour from Waikiki and then had to wait another three hours for the next boat. That was extremely frustrating. I did reach out to them first to try to resolve this before leaving a review. The actual tour was fine, but I was very disappointed with how the situation was handled. A little flexibility or even a courtesy call could have easily avoided this. We chose Shark Adventures because of the great reviews, but unfortunately, this experience left a bad taste. I would not recommend them based on how this was handled.

As noted in the confirmation communications from both Viator and our team via email and text, all guests are required to check in 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. For an 8:30 AM tour, check-in is at 8:00 AM. To ensure a timely departure for all guests who arrived as scheduled, our tour departed promptly at 8:30 AM. Because you arrived after the scheduled departure time, a rescheduling fee was required to move your booking to the next available slot at 11:30 AM. Holding the tour for late arrivals would result in delays for all other passengers who checked in on time. It was the most fantastic adventure that my wife and I had ever experienced. The weather was perfect, the people running the expedition were incredible. The sharks were plentiful. Everyone must experience at least once in your lifetime. We will surely repeat on our next trip back to Hawaii.

Such an AMAZING experience. Definitely will not disappoint. The water was choppy since Hurricane Lowell had come through days before but didn’t take away from the excursion at all! I had no issues even though I normally have motion sickness if things are too much. Bring sunscreen and don’t forget your towels! So many sharks to see! Get the video option to capture the memories.
